Holla, I did block him until my comment was taken down, it clearly was down to him reporting it. I wanted to know why he felt so threatened by my post. I should have known that he wouldn't answer my question.

I only post relevant news articles bullish or bearish on ITV. This was the first time ever that I have posted something regarding a takeover rumour that I personally have received. Like I have said on many occasions to you Tom. Nothing you or I say on a discussion board will make any difference to the movements of the ITV share price. If you disagree, then you're only fooling yourself.

Tom, It's a shame that you feel the need to report my earlier post regarding a takeover rumour that I have genuinely received only this morning. I don't understand why you feel threatened by me passing on this information in good faith, I clearly stated that at this time it is only a rumour, after all it doesn't effect you with you not being an ITV shareholder. I thought that these discussion boards were for shareholders to swap information/news on the said company. I won't be sharing anymore information that I may receive in the future. If the rumour becomes reality I won't hold my breath for an apology from you.

Not at all Tom, this was a genuine mistake. If you go over on to the ADVFN board you will see that another poster earlier today posted the article. It was only after I re posted it on this board that I noticed the date of last year. For this error on my part I sincerely apologise to this board, no misleading was intent.

I'm expecting ITV to recover by the time the USA opens.

Pre Coved ITV was 152.75p at Christmas 2020, since then ITV have also reduced debt. ITV is a well run company, I see no reason why we won't see pre Covid share price again this year. My fair value is 160p. I'm happy to play the waiting game.

Other positives.
Reinstate the dividend this year, expected this year.
Re entry to the FTSE100 possibly in the next reshuffle in March.
Football Euro's next summer.
Love island.

H-hi, no I'm not insulted, just made me laugh. Do you not think that the market is at fault for valuing BT with the junk hotels / retailers when Openreach is said to have a valuation of twice the share price when the price was at 100p? It's not BT's fault if the market gets it badly wrong. I intend to wait on the market to come round to my valuation of at least 300p before reassessing BT.

Congratulations on you timely purchase of ITV. I don't usually give advice but I would say taking a profit is never a bad thing, you will never or very rarely buy at the bottom and sell at the top. My personal view is this. My average ITV price is 160p and believe that ITV will recover at least to this price and most probably much higher. However, this comes down to the timeframe, I have no need for the spare cash that I have invested, so I have no time limit. My price target for ITV this year is 160p. I intend to reassess ITV at this point. Good luck in making the right choice for your own situation.

I can no longer see the drivel that TomTit spouts, I have no doubt that he will continue making a TIT of himself. I should have filtered him months ago, he brings nothing to the board. The best advice I can give is filter the fool.
