Paternoster Resources interview20 Jan 2017 08:56
Interesting interview with Amanda van Dyke non-exec at Paternoster Resources on 6th January. I think it's clear they will play a huge part in doing the due diligence and selection of whatever assets reverses into Pires. They have the 25% she likes so hopefully it won't be long before some action. Here's the gist of her interview. It's transcribed with the main points but not word for word. The two sectors she talks about and obviously likes are gold and uranium producers (not explorers).
"Paternoster is an investment company and we invest in undervalued AIM shares. We take larger positions in companies ... 10% to 25% that need something to turn them around. We invest in turn around stories. Combination of our cash and our help can get us very good returns. Investing in resources but in resource shells. It's about being a shellmeister.
We get the kind of multiples I can't get in a listed company. Where if I take something really little worth less than a million quid, put some good assets in it, give them a little cash to do what they need to do , try to make sure they get the right people on the board to take them to the next level, exit with two or three times our money. That's the aim of that particular game.
Much like resources it's sometimes very hard for retail investors to be able to get access to deals. The average investor is not a geologist ... we do the homework ... due diligence . If you want to play shells we hope by investing in Paternoster you get access to the turnaround shell market in London. That's what we are trying to turn Paternoster into. An investment company that specialises in turning shells around."
