Hopefully plenty of legs still in this rally.. although Ananda's 450p target of many years back is still an extraordinarily funny one imho; If they sold this co for 99p a share I'd be thrilled

Parking a full takeover possibility momentarily - which has to be a reasonable possibility in itself = Paul Curtis previously offered that constituent PFC assets sale options are not significant versus the potential/probable need for a meaningful cash injection into PFC..

eg he offered:

As well as lead players in O&G services - now clearly an ongoingly key Energy sector for many years to come, in spite of what doomongers said - there's a massive Green Economy investment program cranking up too .. and PFC are clearly already at the cutting edge of delivery/servicing in this space too.... Asset buyers are forward looking into medium / long term horizons.. so what a minority stake in whatever aspects of PFC's businesses is worth in 2024 might easily surprise shorters...........

Or a full takeover of PFC ditto of course too.

I agree with him that there is at least a decent chance of a raise here in coming months.. But...I also note that asset sales could equally and readily be the answer

(or they could even scrape through without either, if lenders and clients/potential clients are more flexible again)

Re potential asset sale:

Their future order book feels so large/strong that they can be selective in what they focus on.. and that should leave them open to selling some part of their business and/or physical assets that they can still do well without.... and those asssets also being an attractive proposition to potential future owner(s) Hence I see this path as readily achievable and optimal.

I rate this a hold now (and I hold a small /medium position here - at 50 p ish average, alas - and will be patient.. and even if a raise is required, I've kept aside cash to average down off the back .. as I see the 2025 to 2030 period as extremely bright for PFC

The bears in full swing here I see, from my first glance in in a while .... a free world so fair enough.... that said, I remain instinctively medium term bullish here.. and happy to be plenty further patient too ... but am not currently looking to increase my relatively small bet here either.... (it's a bit surprising to me that this is ticking on down around now.. and very little surprises me more than a bit in this game any more in fairness)

PS; take no risk is a funny guy.. and you gotta laugh in this AIM game, which is indeed the 'Wild West' imho..

If the alternative is administration, then the bandwidth for additional share issuance will be approved at the AGM imho...

I'm with Hillpark's post of 8.50 am.. there is probably, even in these latest awful circumstances, some sell on value here.. if even to another small cap explorer.. but Glenn and Bill and other shareholders taking say for eg 10m gbp to sell up in coming few months probably wouldn't happen around now, even still imho..

My guess is the first thing they'll do is run this co. on fumes in the short term and sit and hope market/sector sentiment changes thru 2024.. I'm ok with this.. and absolutely don't want a new ceo in in the short term..

PS: In picking Claude they bought into his strategy/vision.. so in my mind this was just one more very bad call from Bill and Glenn.. and, as ever in life, there are consequences to bad calls..

Feeling the need to rub it in, I'm compelled to offer back to Ms Lucy Tobin that perking up in 2024 from these droopy s/p level is not good enough.... Nothing short of a hard spurt will suffice for me here in 2024

(and there are a few posters i'd love to see post better content of less here in 24 too.. but that's not going to happen, I get.... btw Little posting from me here in 24 I expect as I spend little time on any detail here as I've realised that it's very likely a rank bad bet from me that I just chalk up to experience....and also nice I not annoy people by half baked posting here too .. Generally, what happened to this company in Tunisia will be shown to be illegal/grossly abusive of power imho.. I know from here and from save.l in chad and others too that trying to do business in many African countries is becoming more and more of a sick joke.. Against such a backdrop I see AC or other non indigenous Co's CEO having a depressingly small chance of success.... And I commend AC for suing hard and looking to build this business out away from the African Continent...

Secondly, Geoff, some had feared during 2023 that Webis wouldn't even manage to plod along as before into the future and so sold and knocked the s/p down to an extremely low level. 35% on top of that extremely low level still equates to a very low level ( imho &dyor)
