Sad state of affairs here20 Jun 2024 12:26
..... maybe Mr Colin Bird will undertake some Director buying soon.. even 20k gbp would help, and he can well afford it.. and it could, for sundry reasons, be argued to be the right thing to do...
Or would he consider a share buyback scheme for even half a million gbp later this year. if s/p still very lowly ( it has more merit than a dividend imho )
(I half thought about offering a new CEO option too .. but he'd likely only be able to get one of his half baked mates in I'd guess ...and management credibility could still remain shot, alas.... )
Generally, I know this is now a pure play 'tiddler' copper exploration co. and, as such, available money should standardly be focused on exploration.. .. but the round of it right now is that the market is telling us - rightly or wrongly- that the exploration licences xtr.l have will very likely turn out to be worth very little indeed, in the end.
In that context and the context of - I hope - strong cash income ongoing in coming few years, if the s/p was .75p or lower here in Autumn, a small ish - eg a half a million gbp -share buyback scheme in q4 might easily have strong merit imho..
