It's Africa and things happen 'more slowly', often.. so I was expecting that 90 day transition period to over run somewhat.. 30 or 60 days ish over run would be a wild guess for me.. and my take on Mr Fowler's token buy recently was a calming play, if we go thru July etc and shareholders get a little restless without news of income now started on this contract..

(Disclosure: I sold 20% of my holding here across eob yesterday and this morning .. and would buy it back if this s/p goes back towards 2p in the coming weeks.. I'd be surprised if it declines that much though.. as what's a few weeks more wait for revenue on a scheme of this game changing long term contract)

Agreed 01234.. AIM has been thru a brutal few years and a lot of participants have left the building, alas..

This news could have rallied this share big back in the better days..

I still hope there will be a rally of some sort here as this news gets picked up on as we go..

This RNS is a big statement one imho..

Jim Mellon very wealthy and busy man has a wide portfolio of interests to spend his time on .. and so is not joining the board here out of tokenism imho.. he'll be looking to add fuel to a better bottom line performance at the very least.. and why not this appointment being about bringing more focus on sale/merger possibilities here too ..

This man is very high quality...

Owns a huge tranche of stock here and looking to get hands on towards waking this sleeping beauty up, hopefully..

Any which ways, to say I've very high hopes for this stock would be an understatement...

If this turns around like I/we hope then directors fees are paid in cash out of earnings instead of an 'emergency situation raise' like yesterday ....

And if it doesn't turn around in next 18 months then we're in a car crash situation any which ways.

PS Towards balance and on more mature reflection, something that bfdinvestor said yesterday might cast the RNS in a different light:

'' Q2 results are due this week and either they are so bad that they wouldn't have been able to get a placing away.....''

A possibility too I get .. hopefully not.. and all will be revealed soon...

McMaster is the personification of self serving arrogance .. even by AIM horribly low standards ..

That said, 2p or 3p here later this year wouldn't surprise me at all.. not least now McMaster is loaded up at a - very - low average here.

I think Doc is in the wider ball park in pricing achievable terms - but is seriously overly bullish in production terms - and Stas is way too optimistic, but not COPL levels 'delusional', in fairness.

Previously I'd offered along the lines of me being for hmi.l being sold for 5p ish a share in 2025. Somebody said back this wouldn't be sold at that low a price as too unattractive to McMaster as his average holding price is well higher than that .. I'll today offer back that even 3 or 4 p per share sale out value of HMI might now be very attractive to McMaster versus his average holding price.

Which would be fine by me too now.... (especially including McMasters latest dodgy dealings making me a bit more embarrassed again to have a BET in play here)

But McMaster being such a chancer might still be too red a flag for plenty to average down or buy for first time etc

Still, I'll go with the bottom line of him filling his boots with shares here now shows confidence.... and following directors bets on a co. is a tried and tested way to go

maybe I should be a bit ashamed being further associated with a McMaster company . but my instinct is the underlying business has a decent chance of turning around thru 24 and 25.. and so 1p is a tempting buying price to for me ..

Generally, paying himself that level salary in the circumstances is disgrace enough... and to take the backdated owed monies at half the current s/p a bigger disgrace again...showing McMaster to be an amoral, shameless alley cat..

He is a text book eg of what helps make AIM the cesspit that it is..

They are taking them in shares at least... should be sticky holdings too..

Indicating the business may well be showing signs of turning around..

So 1p feels a good buying price here now.. but i'll guess it won't go that low to buy .. If it does then I may well top up

I'm impressed by this funding arrangement.

And this is a crucial basis for WSG to build strongly forward from.

That said, as it's Africa, I'd understand if implementation on the DRC grounds takes more time than management might have hoped.. but on a scheme of things here now that's ok by me.

Generally, I'm excited to be holding this stock and have high hopes for good s/p appreciation here into the future here.. especially in 2025...(maybe not straight line appreciation.... a bit bumpy readily possible .. but overall good s/p appreciation )
