punchily down again this year seems very likely now - 4p ish at start to 2.75p ish with a hand ful of trading days to go - and I must say that this is such a consitent share.. ruff ruff went the bowleven doggy year after year for many years.. but hope springs eternal etc..Happy Christmas to all the long suffering here and very hopefully 2022 wil be better thann 21, 20...for us..

I've found the Docs shouts to certainly have their fair share of misses in them in the couple of - recent - years I've listened to his views..... and, from the charts, I see that this share has been torrid for longtermers .. and this could of course be just the latest false dawn.. so my bet here would never be big anyway - eg 5k gbp ish max- but I see hope here now.. and so place my bets and, well, hope.... placing my bets is actually hard as this doggy is so illiquid.. can't even get a live quote in morning recently.. so 'at best' required to some extent.. but I've gotten a quote this arbo and added some more.. may wait til new year for next tranche add or three now .. Happy xmas to all fellow shareholders here.

Having 'challenging' deadline(s) focuses the minds of those who have to sign off on this re list documentation, somewhat at least.. and every deadline date missed does add some pressure towards this sign off process being completed 'soon'.

Generally, at this stage, fine by me if this starts trading again in early Jan. now though.

at least the spread has narrowed as the price has risen today.. so as well as nice for the long suffering here to see a punchy(ish) s/p rise, it's also nice for those looking to get involved here around now that the spread moves away from joke levels when some activity kicks in here.. indeed, I felt ok with doing a small top up this arbo in that altogether context .. I've a fair few more bullets to fire here as we go but may well space those shots a fair ways apart..

I have Bill Humphries as late 70's .. eg 79 ish.. and not 82 .. but - very - fair play to him if he is 82..

Not surprising he's not for changing his ways at this stage.. so Bill will continue to do it his own way, very likely.. and the - very - patient may well be - very - well rewarded in the end here, - very - hopefully.

would have bought more today but the spread is very wide and while hoping to get a buy price decently inside 4.2p, that's not currently happening.. so having to pay at or around the full 4.2p is offputting for me going for any size here ..

Not to mind not going up.. from what I can just now see, this punk share has actually gone down a smidgeon more on AIM this arbo versus this morning...

(I'm tempted to put in more here this arbo.. but am trying to stay diclipined.. and buying in clips of 1k gbp ish spread out over time is a plan I should stick with, in fairness...)

getting towards shockingly low to me now.. but that's not to say it can't go lower again, alas.. eithr very brave or stupid to average down here, I have no idea which....but I've decided to start averaging down gently here now.. and will buy a few thousand shares every 1p it goes down starting at 18p .. up to 5k gbp to throw at this .. it's the houses money I'm giving back, in fairness .. and every little helps, hopefully,...

Surprised you're surprised Samroy.. if assays delayed etc.. expectation management has become key here .. and practice makes perfect for AM90 and UrbanRacer becoming excellent at that :-)

I have my own way of doing similar: the managment team here remind me of a mom and pop shop in some small regional town.. they do it their own way in their own time, and living in the past is a good not bad thing.. and they get by pretty nicely in this fashion.. so I just adjust my timeframe and s/p expectations down... learn more patience.. and understand it to be their way or the highway..

Total folly to guess what price save.l might raise at I know... but as i'm now bored waiting and Trustlie has just thrown out a figure that I identify with, I'll say 25p ish would be my guess.... a middle ground figure that brings down the II 's average nicely while stuill being some sort of a statement too in being higher than the 19 odd p suspension price .. and leaves rom for good upside for those who want to buy in here after re list too...

(How this might trade after re listing is another another interesting q: if there is justice based on fundamentals it should motor on up.. but never forget the Africa discount that seems onmnipresent across O&G for Africa revenue generation plays as a rule ( I hold/have held 10 plus Africa focus O&G shares in my time and so am not just making that up, alas.. although seems the Rolls Royce among them and in theory should be discounted less.. especially after re list, hopefully) .. my rule of thumb for this discount is divide the fundamentals indicative valuation you arrive at in - approx - half .. which, given some of the credible experts posting here valuations, is still - over time - a very nice number .. and one hell of a lot more than 19.25 p for eg )

given markets closed at w/e, morining of 20th is very much around the 17th imho ...

and as it might go down like a french k+ss at a funeral, best i spare you the old chestnut that there was no year offered alongside that on or around Dec 17

I would say it's semi solid more than solid.. but those couple of expected 21 revenue delays into next year will scare a few.... hence the punchy sell off straight off back of RNS release, I suspect.. however, given this has gone down alot already recently and these results are ok - obviously strong was the market hope, but they didn't get that, clearly - I'd say another approx 9% - off as I type- this arbo is somewhat harsh / overdone..

The doubters are going to say more jam tomorrow here and we've been waiting such a long time already for that jam.. etc.. and I understand them saying that .. but 20p here is there/thereabouts a buying opportunity for me now.. granted selling 25% of my holding higher recently in the hope of adding it back lower makes it easier for me to say that..

Being cynical - and this game makes you that way - it's more money out of mtph's bank account to do this study I guess ? .. and so their overall costs run rate in 2022 goes up now .. etc..

a mans gotta have a view wtf.. and besides being endlessly wrong in such predictions can work too.. just bet the opposite to what you predict :-)

Less seriously again, the short term punters buying here recently in early 20's and quickly running for the hills now may well leave the s/p lower than it was before this recent good news RNS.. I'd get why some might find that quite funny

Interesting stuff AM90 and much appreciated.. I think there's 3 or 4 m oz or more of gold to be readily categorised as proven here.. and I just don't see a company sale happening this early in that proving up journey.. any potential buyer just won't offer anything like with Lnd see as fair value at this relatively early stage in this gold resource proving up journey.. again, the earliest they would is at least one more significant drilling campaign away imho ..

PS: Could anyone even roughly indicate to me how many AIM Metals Exploration companies get bought out on an average year?... and how many are actually listed?

Fine post AM90 and much appreciated.

I could present a perspective that's very different to yours here and there would be lots within it that would be as blindingly obvious to me as some of your content in afore post is to you, but that post would be plenty opposite to some of your views too. ( If/when there is a next raise here in Feb/Mar for a next drilling campaign I'd go for such a post, lock, stock and barrel: I don't think this company will be sold by then and do think such a raise will happen around then)

Generally, a good bulletin board is a balanced one.. and, given what the share price here is telling us, the bull posting here outweighing the bear posting massively is unbalanced imho. But such imbalance could change in 2022.

As it's still 2021, a gentle push back is all I'll offer currently:

There's a World of difference between Landore sending out an expression of interest notification and receiving a bid to buy the company - or some part of - that Landore management team believe values their assets fairly. The market place knows this company has been for sale for the right price for quite some time now.. sending out expression of interest notification in Jan. is a so what imho.

my recent(ish) best case shout of 35p by y/e is looking even more 'ambitious' now.. my latest instinct is two hopes of that now: bob and no.

..but lets at least have a drilling update in the coming week please .. and have a run at 30p by y/e off the back very please..

MRE by y/e may well not happen now is my guess.. but anyone who has been involved here for years more than months will not be surprised by that.. instead a little disappointed perhaps... but not a lot.. as the bar here on what it takes to be very disappointed has been raised high over time :-)
