I can’t say they are or not but tend to agree VD55G1 is not our boy. The BrightSense architecture can have QD added with Quantum Film however if it is not already in use. Presentations shared recently introduce a variety of sensors with specific part numbers before then discussing SWIR without the mention of any part numbers for a sensor or sensors. The webinar on 2nd July twice made reference to there being more :

I. Leclerc said there are other product releases that they won’t be discussing

II. There are more products coming

Xenon the well has run dry on ST SWIR presentations or webinars. There’s very little left to find that hasn’t already been found and discussed. It’s disconcerting that ST are not making any noise other than updating on BrightSense which may or may not include our tech in the family.

Ok it’s not unusual for trades to show up a few days later on the list of trades but it seems they [Nanoco] have reported it correctly as a transaction in own shares via RNS.

Yes I got the link and I'm familiar with using that for info on trades. I'm just trying to understand if you think they have done something different re reporting or in trading patterns?

Why is it you think “it wasn’t printed out” yesterday Kooba? I’m curious where you get this print information from? Isn’t it possible they executed more than one trade to total 330k shares?

It’s becoming a circular argument-we won’t know until October and there are many possibilities, good and bad.

I doubt Apple would go backwards and use lead unless there were extremely compelling reasons. But as TW suggests for other machine vision applications it’s more likely not to receive as much scrutiny reputational or otherwise. I suspect Samsung will be the same as Apple for consumer electronics.

Apple have previously stated they have banned lead from (for example) glass backs and solder. My quick research indicates they may still use lead where there is no technical alternative although I can't cite a specific example. They have a matrix for what is acceptable in terms of sourcing, use and disposal relative to the quantities.

I think all I’ve said is at no point has anything been announced regarding the ending of the ST relationship or Gen 1 and that we should wait until October to find out the reason for the end-customers commercialisation pipelines delay rather than making stuff up as if it were fact. I don’t see why that’s a problem. I have my own theory on the reasons for delay and it’s got nothing to do with Pb.

Pb has opened up an opportunity that silicone can’t and is in such small quantities it’s unlikely to be a RoHS issues under the current administration. Rightly or wrongly ST are taking the space in SWIR that other companies would take because they see the potential market for SWIR CMOS in my opinion. As usual the information vacuum needs filling but claims that ST is dead re just that and in October you will find out if the claim was valid or false.

Please show me what text in the trading update RNS states that ST are walking off? You are making false claims as fact and I sincerely hope no one believes you. You are entitled to an opinion as we all are but you’re posting libellous statements and downright falsehoods.

Does a co-chair have to have the same credentials as chair? Do you think Nanoco would make such an error and for Dr J not to notice and make the correction? Obviously you do but seems a little odd if they have.

Do you think the NEDs review the trading update RNS Kooba? Or at least the release of comms as part of their oversight?

Without a shred of evidence and the company expressing that they will update the market on ST's pipeline in October and they still expect orders in CY24.

I think they are engaged with another group but aren’t certain if it’s going to be signed up or exactly when. If they are dealing with another Asian customer they can be different to engage with from a communication and commercial perspective…..but yeah let’s just say by the end of the year or maybe discussions will cease….

I think they mentioned 6 months but used other words around it that I can’t recall but could be summarised as « ish » …..that was in March.

I hope they come after you for libelling
