Gen 1 and Gen 2 have different use cases. Gen 1 doesn’t necessarily get phased out when Gen 2 comes on stream!

Whatever the source of income for the original guidance to BE at some point in Calendar Year '25 it has only been delayed. Not cancelled as you falsely state. We wont know more until we are advised in October so I'll wait and hear what the company has to say after they've engaged with their customer on their pipeline(s).

2025 could be a mix of Gen 1 and Gen 2 sales as they move closer to validation and adoption into end product devices. I could see a scenario where sensor devices from ST will be issued to companies like Apple and Samsung for sampling in CY25 in other words for validation in 26 and mass adoption into mobiles late 26 or into 27. During that time the company has guided they will be breaking even and there is the chance that something else could materialise in the interim.

I think Dr P was criticised in the past for not being visible enough and BT has been accused as being a joke wearing branded polo shirts and being a plump Irishman. There’s really no end to the ridicule.

achievements, a company he is responsible for starting that’s employing young people who enjoy working there so much they’re being recognised in prestigious award programs as they deliver on guidance and stated objectives.

Kooba i dont recall the company saying they’d deliver a sustainable business yesterday or tomorrow. I believe the are guiding towards the future as technologies are adopted. They have acknowledged a delay. That is not a failure to deliver a strategic aim.

Nothing is guaranteed and the words were in line with the ridicule of the words used by Nanoco in relation to the fab opening, I can’t recall the exact words, I’m paraphrasing.

Just to finish off my previous message….its ok to challenge posts or posters but it is possible to do so respectfully. These places can affect people emotionally even if you feel no emotion yourself. I have changed my posts and I’m using virtually no emotional energy and I’m happier posting here since I’ve avoided confrontation.

As for your post Kooba, I’d actually challenge your suggestion that anyone has been unquestionably bullish. Defending the company is not the same. Arguing against those who I consider to be unfairly negative is not being bullish. I have concerns about delays to Gen1 but I’m comforted for the time being that it’s not cancelled but that could change in October. I’m concerned that G2 might take longer to be validated if it is validated at all. I’m concerned that display isn’t delivering. But I think the company and management are delivering on a few fronts and are upping their PR which they were criticised for in being lacking but are now ridiculed when they do. Sadly there’s no winning these arguments just now and only the future success will silence the critics. If they deliver mass commercial orders I’ll say I told you so but equally it could be you and others crowing. In that case I’ll probably retire into the shadows.

Kooba there are only three possibilities in my opinion:

1. ST are happy to let Nanoco do what they want with information

2. ST will be wantging some of the action

3. ST are not involved but were happy to sell some kit they no longer required and may benefit from Nanoco's R&D efforts further down the line.

I think scenario 1 is unlikely and we would both agree on that.

As with most things Kooba, the communications are vague but they are in reality aimed at a different audience to the junkies here. In time I think we'll get a better understanding of the fab and the wafer. It could indeed be that ST have facilitated the fab so that Nanoco can speed up development for ST's benefit alone but my reading is the purpose of the fab is for a wider customer base.

In my opinion, there is little chance ST are involved in this from an IP perspective or otherwise and there is no mentioned of Quantum Film in the RNS.

They speak of providing coating QD's and other conductive layers on silicon wafers....we need to understand that process better. Could Nanoco make their own QD film or an equivalent solution without ST? I don't see why not.

Aside from the significance of the fab itself, the company are clearly proud of their recent achievements. One of the areas they highlighted was previously they kept their powder dry during the litigation but now that is in the past they were going to step up their marketing and visibility.

Recently there has been the positive workplace feedback and award participation and today they will be recognised for their contribution to the region growing the business and employing people. I expect they will be doing more in future .

This of course is precisely they type of activity some have been clamouring for, so now it's being demonstrated we can expect the same people to applaud the companies efforts...

SmithyB it’s a case of sides of an argument and the two you refer to are on the opposite side - which is fine.

What amazes me is they conclude that everyone who has been arguing against them is the same individual. In the same way you suggest TG2D and Troublesome have aligning views and support one another always -yet they can’t understand others could do the same on the other side of the argument. Personally I don’t believe they are the same person they are just constantly looking to uphold their position against in particular TW and me because we are the most fervent defenders of a company we’ve invested in that they seem hellbent in undermining. It’s really quite pathetic they have to resort to repeating the accusations of multiple id’s but sometimes it’s just best to ignore than try to reason with them or to humour them because they are so far down the rabbit hole they can’t be reasoned with. So I leave them on filter and check what they’re saying now and again only to see the same repetition.

I would hope that some watch that video and maybe see it differently than you suggest TW
