No and i said that once you made your reply and I checked why you said what you said. It’s inappropriate to bring that language to the discussion. I initially thought troublesome was the first to mention it. I still feel what he said had crossed the line.

Fair enough he didn’t introduce the ‘subject’ but I still consider what he subsequently said to be over the line

I can imagine your apathetic response had it been posted by TW Kooba about Troublesome or you. I’d be outraged no matter who posted it but maybe I’m wrong to assume you would be too….evidently.

Correct me if I’m wrong but are you saying that BT said the settlement could be worth multiples of market capitalisation or the settlement?

Nanonano, just so we are clear he said a win in court could be worth multiples of the value of the company and that a settlement would be a fair reflection of lost revenue from IP licence. Only the latter part is open to criticism. There is then the discount a negotiated settlement inevitably comes with. Some think that the outcome was fair, others think it wasn't. I can honestly say I hoped for more but understood given the calibre of people involved making the decisions that the settlement was likely just. BT did not rail against the backers, the legal team or the advisors and acted alone and we don't know all of the intricacies of the case, what Samsung's defence was, what weaknesses we had then there was the risk of needing more money to remain a going concern. I don't think it's fair to lay all of this at BT's feet. The goings on with calls etc will never be fully known either. I do believe that the professional II's will have mapped out the implications of settlement scenarios and that includes immediate recognition of what the low case meant. The fact we didn't is our fault not theirs. We see risk differently to them. FWIW I don't include TH as a professional II.

I don't think anyone would take pleasure from that even on an anonymous forum, except it seems from some of the previous posts that you know the individual’s identity so that makes the whole thing a bit skewed in your favour. If you took a step back and considered how you might feel were roles reversed and people knew your identity how would you feel if a group were attacking you?

There are some characterful individuals on here with strong opinions and some have emotional responses and others don't. I'll admit I'm quick to respond and not always in a way I reflect on and can be proud of. I am getting older and perhaps a little wiser and I can see the failing in that approach and I'm trying [hard] to maintain a more balanced approach on here and I'm merely encouraging others to do the same. If anyone follows suit all the better. To your last question, I've managed to not retaliate in most cases to the taunts from some recently and funnily enough, as is often the case, they have calmed down because they know I'm either not bothered anymore or not listening so there's no response and therefore no point trying. Maybe TW will stop or ignore or not change. That’s his decision.

So maybe we should all just stick to the pertinent parts and avoid the pointed comments…..just sayin’! We’d all get on a lot better that way and be less annoyed by it at the same time.

I agree TW - not sure it makes sense to remain invested in a company you have no faith in. It seems many blame BT personally for all that’s happened in the past so maybe now he’s moving on, for whatever reason, those still invested will be more positive. Otherwise they really should sell.

Kooba I have recognised my behaviour and that’s why I’m asking others to do the same. I think you guys are pretty far down a hole and you can’t pull yourselves out of it. You’re all obsessed with one another and it’s pointless. There’s nothing to be gained by continuing all the nonsense.

It’s up to you, all of you to decide if you’re willing to make a change.
