Obviously USA is a huge potential market but can anyone actually find how PSE test is being marketed and delivered in any US States? I would love to see anything as my understanding is that they are still relying on "word of mouth" by specialists to promote PSE.

When you are up against the large vested interests who provide the current PSA tests, which is going to be the "go to test"?

A $50 version or a $1,000 version, regardless of the claimed accuracy? Some will argue the PSE has to be it and logically it should be but it's not after several years of availability. Why if its so good, is not being taken up in the multiple thousands?

If people knew the facts, they would never make such comments about Lunn and Menzel being besties re Texas......nothing could be further from the truth.

Limitations and considerations

While the PSE test shows promise, it’s not yet offered as standard care across the NHS. Right now, it’s mainly available through private providers like The Focal Therapy Clinic. This means some patients may need to cover the cost themselves.

However, it’s competitively priced and includes full support from expert clinicians. Remember that the test is based on relatively small studies that need to be confirmed in larger, more diverse populations before it can be considered reliable for widespread use. Leading prostate cancer charities, including Prostate Cancer UK, have noted that more research is needed to establish whether the test can correctly identify men with prostate cancer when their diagnosis is unknown.

The Prostate Screening EpiSwitch (PSE) blood test is not currently recommended by NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) or included in standard NHS screening protocols.

While researchers and some private healthcare providers highlight its high reported accuracy (up to 94%) compared to the standard PSA test, NICE still requires more large-scale evidence before endorsing it for routine clinical testing.
