The monies involved in getting to 29.9% are not significant so unless the potential funder of the Tender Offer has got cold feet it's difficult to see it not going through.

More likely is the case that the Takeover Panel are moving at a snails pace in giving the green light and/or the finalisation of necessary documentation required to proceed is taking some time to complete.

Happy to proven otherwise of course but this is out of TNT's hands so it's highly unlikely the BoD at TNT are causing any hold ups.

The real unkown for me remains the CLIN situation and that might be unresolved?

Volumes don't show any significant buys at all since RNs. No way they can get 29.9% target in open market.

Its the same people who wanted to buy the whole company and after receiving feedback from TNT plc and their major shareholders agreed to go down the 29.9% tender off route instead.

Personally I could not care less re UK take up (other than it is ignoring a potentially life saving test due to their own lack of vision for PSE Testing), saw very similar during covid when silly contracts were handed out by the NHS to known parties rather than the best providers out there for all sorts of things.

More than happy to see OBD make progress into the USA and other foreign markets, probably explains why they went USA first now.

I am very happy to wait and see how USA pans out.

I can certainly empathise with you as you have been a very long term holder here and been through the mill many times over.

I happen to believe that the company is on the cusp of great things with the new much more proactive CEO and house broker agrees (yes I know they would anyway) but they do at least provide supporting evidence in their comprehensive coverage and forecasts.

The psychology behind the bull flag pattern is simple. When a stock rises, traders become optimistic about the stock's prospects. However, as the stock consolidates, some traders begin to doubt the price trend and sell their positions.

I love a bit of TA and charting.

Only caveat is that it works best on larger companies of the time but then again Zak Mir does it all the time on small caps so why not do the same here I say.
