A week ago this board was full of positivity, now its full of negativity, why? Because a week ago the SP was flying back up, now it's dropping back the negatives go again.

Just a reflection of the times we are in.

I bet Graham Colley wasn't sat in the CPX boardroom moaning at Lars about the share price and the drop in his holding values.

Judging by most posts here today it would seem as though the majority are/have written off CPX now.

AIM is a market place full of gamblers and the news flow from CPX has not delivered the big bangs many were expecting.

The SP falls reflect on PI sentiment, not the the actual business or its management or the quality of its declared significant shareholders.

You either accept that CPX is a company that is delivering or you don't.

I prefer to believe that CPX is working hard to deliver but for many it's obviously not.

Each to their own.

Simply put, traders buy a rising share and sell a falling one, same on many aim shares for ages . The trend will turn, we just don't know when . Cpx is a sitting duck for a takeover from other parties or possibly from existing shareholders imo

Feels like OBD Management are now caught between a rock and hard place re test volumes.

Looks like they over priced their offering as the obvious cost savings highlighted would relate to the NHS or other national bodies taking up the tests. Looks like that's been parked for the long term due to validation requirements which cost alot of money and time.

By going down the private route they focused on USA and more recently on UK private health but the costs are just to high (I know people will argue there's no price on health etc) but with access to the standard PSA test readily available and the follow on investigations/procedures people will still hopefully get diagnosed early enough for good outcomes.

The business model looks to be not really delivering in numbers required at 1,000 tests a month. If OBD have cut prices then it increases test numbers required and so on (all very obvious).

OBD as we said many times put the cart before the horse, building processing centres to handle high volume test numbers and must be operating way below capacity but with high fixed overheads regardless.

Difficult to see how OBD can square the circle re near term funding (ie next 3-6 months) without raising substantial funds again.

Pity to see what should have been (or even still could be) British Science success story just not able to commercialise their offering the right way at a fair price and with validated approvals. The lack of any further news on the nationwide mens' prostate cancer programme that shows OBD's participation just confirms the above.

Where do they go from here? I am sure there will be calls for the CEO to consider his future, the CFO has proven to be a lapdog to a controlling CEO.

Will management changes be made or will the same people just put out the begging bowl again and then carry on?

Do they have options for sharing their IP with a larger player perhaps?

However, the deal with Global means that PPP are now a lease holder and reliant on Global drilling enough wells to generate significant oil production that means PPP gets enough money from their 10% revenue share. Long term the "deal" suggests a great secure income stream but getting there could be a way off. Plus PPP are 100% dependant on GV now for incomes. I know there's talk of a 50/50 JV for Lithium but can't see how they could fund that out of income so likely a fund raise for that to come.
