If I was rm I would sit and wait for the plc to go pop and then use gv money to invest in the lease directly with land owners . No money wasted paying off PPP debts etc and no plc costs. Run it as a private enterprise with Evans. Makes perfect sense especially if lunn and menzel can't work together as some claim

No one can offer a fair explanation of why production from just one operating well stopped in April 2024 apart from the obvious one which is that money ran out to pay rig operating company and or lease holders . But the TG won't accept that because it happened under Evans watch

What's to stop PPP being put into administration and close down with all their debts. Then RM and others could just go direct to lease holders to negotiate their own deal privately without spending their cash paying off PPP debt.

So GV signed a legally binding agreement 1 August 2024, one day after PPP plc got suspended for no accounts to 31 March 2024.

I guess that triggered alarm bells at GV so no wonder RM didn't do anything months before Lunn arrived as Chairman so cannot blame Lunn for GV's actions or should I say lack of actions.
