RE: "Legend Mining hunts for the6 Jul 2018 08:55
Answer: @olderandwiser All junior miners have a geological model of the project, otherwise where are they going to place the drills etc. I am talking about the geological modelling. Example, see the Solgold corporate presentations where they have the detailed modelling. From the Solgold modelling, they give the potential of the project eg Alpala etc.
GGP has done modelling, it is mentioned in the RNS. However, they say it is like Olympic Dam in terms of geological similarities. There are 50 targets and in one of the interviews on Haverion itself, it gives an idea of size. If I recall, its half a district [please check as I dont have the details currently but it has been posted].
It is worded in a different way. I am sure many of us realise that GGP is running the co on a tight budget and does not have the type of model Solgold is running given the budget size.
That was all I meant. It has nothing to do with not giving the retail the info. I doubt even if they gave the raw geological data, retail can run geological modelling and provide conceptual models.
All that was meant was for us retail to try to read what is meant in the RNS/video interviews to form our own idea of the potential of the various projects. Same for any other co both on AIM and otherwise.
I trust this explains matters. Each one of us will have to form our own idea based on the RNS and data released. Brent Cook mentions about geological data and the more one knows the better. Mr Cook is not only a geologist, he has a Economic Geological degree as well, hence they are far more nuanced. In this case, one will need personally to see the data of Telfer etc and all the other junior miners in Paterson to form a general data base. That is personal research. Rushing this morning so not editing for errors.
