At the moment it appears the circle of trust within ZIOC remains intact, with outsiders (institutions) totally in the dark. We have several posters, rightly or wrongly that have been putting 2 & 2 together for some time now and sharing their thoughts here with institutions totally oblivious to what ZIOC is all about (or so it appears) but soon, this will change and volume will go mental together with our SP. Don't think our latest RNS and ZIOC itself will go unnoticed for too much longer, can it !

Just added, not sure if through stupidity or tactical investing, either way, the way I see it ZIOC have had plenty of opportunity to clear the decks prior to today, so why NOW !!

Given 'insider' reports, true or not, can there really be that much longer for this to trundle on as is !

Thanks for that, unfortunately there are too many of the Greta Gang Bang 'believers' atm, we need more like this guy.

As for upcoming US elections, Trump is a high risk factor afaic for UK energy security which I feel the UK has not yet fully understood . I understand UK are planning to import around >50% of their overseas gas requirement from US, not sure who you could trust the most, Putin or Trump to keep the UK lights on tbh, although so long as UK toes the line, trousers down then bends over when US ask, we should be OK, I think !!!

I have also noticed more than a 'slight softening' of the rhetoric from Labour recently regarding the big bad oil companies and their excessive windfall profits, anyone else noticed the same ?

At the end of 2022 we had $2.7bn in available tax losses from TW, end of 2023 SQZ now have $2.3bn !

The deal was sold on utilising these tax losses from TW !

"Will we ever realise them once Labour get their feet under the table?.." as they say that's the $64m question, or in our case the $2.3bn one !

See AGM resolution 9 - To re-appoint Robert Lawson as a Director of the Company had a few votes of discontent, understandable given who he is and Kiosk Kate, resolution 6 - to re-appoint Katherine Coppinger as a Director of the Company too.

Very little, if anything is/has been going right with SQZ since taking the poisoned chalice know as TW, is this by design or just bad luck !

They have done with completion of BuyBack's at a volume weighted average price of approximately 177.78 pence per share, current SP 134p....Doh !

Enquest have a large debt pile and significant amount held by pesky bondholders, effective net debt, SQZ are in a net cash position.

We currently have ~60% of our MCap in cash and equivalents.

Since HBR announced their WD deal, they have gained ~20% on their SP, whereas SQZ have dropped ~40% that's the difference of a proactive mgt team. I'm worried that our much awaited overseas acquisition will not occur until Mercuria have snuffed the life out of us and moved in for the kill.... then of course it would no longer be 'our' SQZ.

Strong opening today, guess Mr Market is starting to look forward to us completing WD deal and shareholder meeting to approve the acquisition resolution being passed now we have published Circular and Prospectus for them to chew over.
