Everyone knows that esp car manufactures work on complex JIT methodology, so why would the Gov buy parts by the millions in advance of production that is not required and may never be required ! At the very least you create a supply glut, just will not work afaic.

CoH has little relevance in protecting a company from a takeover, debt is slightly different. We have no debt and plenty of cash, for me, I too agree a t/o will occur, maybe quicker than some would like but for sure, at some point it will most likely happen imo.

I'm adding as and when and will continue to build my position, either we get t/o or we turn into a significant player in the energy market with a MCap to match and become a dividend play too.

Direction of travel is clear, just the speed of change is unknown.

ATM, Linde have what is essentially a significant contribution (16.2%) to a blocking vote and of course the opposite is true too. This is the intriguing thing about Linde's holdings, are they waiting for the right moment to pounce or do they have an exit price themselves, if so I would like to think it's a lot higher than their and other institutional investors 2021 placing price,400p.

For sure, as ITM become more and more successful it will open themselves up to t/o approaches, Dennis has already stated the company is ready for such an event , I can only surmise that Linde are intertwined in this defence, for the moment !
