I would rather we survive this assumed, opportunistic approach as t/o activity like this will put a new floor under our SP to continue growing the business .... we need to hire the right people to defend our company. Don't really want a t/o, not now.

So, what this approach does is re-enforce what a top-class product / company DARK is ... Thoma Bravo will not be the last assuming we survive.

Even a modest 30% premium would take the offer to ~540p ..... just over 50% below our ATH.

As mentioned earlier, DARK shares are now in re-newed demand. gla

Serica should invest as much as possible so to claim as much as possible to off-set levy tax based on minimum production to achieve net zero on profit after tax. In other words, HMRC pays us to improve our infrastructure for zero return on tax.... keep the gas in the ground until 2026. Pointless using up our only assets to give 65% of profit to HMRC. Do the Well intervention but throttle back on production, develop NE as much as possible, then bring production online 31/12/2025 etc etc. There is no law to say we must produce at full capacity .... well not yet, there is always next week, just don't tell Labour !!

Talk about destroying investor confidence within NS ..... no one will invest anything in UK O&G for some years to come, a second WFT, it just can not happen, can it ? .... Two WFT in little over two months, if it wasn't a real possibility you could write a comedy sketch about it ! .... They would need to offer min 120% tax allowance against investment in return, none of this rubbish 91.25% offered atm.... Retrospective taxes ffs .... whatever next !

As for nationalisation, wtf not, be easier to buy SQZ at >600p/s and take all the profits / taxes if the gov think these NBP prices are going to extend for several years .... They can then tax profits at 100% to win their votes and keep their jobs, cushty !

The UT was for £2,629,314.58, 616,631 shares @ 426.40p .... your data source probably just rounds it up for display purposes.

UT's are neither sells nor buys, but a 'balancing' of EOD orders, a tidying up exercise.

There are however several +£50k trades reported late, demand is renewed for DARK esp run up to results.

FWIW, I also think that first gas by 2024 is stuff of dreams. There is a current issue of supply and demand around logistics for O&G ..... Costs are rocketing, parts difficult to source, lack of steel, unless CHAR have actual long pre-orders in place, there is no way that first gas will happen in 2024..... without the FID, no orders will have been placed and competition is ramping up daily. The only way CHAR will get close to that deadline is if a major takes us over or gain operator status and go all out to make it happen. Money will need to be thrown at this project of 2024 is a real target.... imo

No getting away from it, these are MASSIVE, massive FREEBIES, that I would of liked to have seen after a meaningful gain in our SP.

No issue for me though if they manage to x10 our SP without further dilution or consolidation it has to be said.

With NBP as it is, our recent Well Interventions on two Bruce wells have paid for themselves already, bringing in atm an additional ~£500,000 pd revenue .... then of course you have HMRC paying us back ~91.25% of costs too ...... so long as Rishi doesn't get the top job that is !
We should accelerate all other Well Interventions & Enhanced Recovery on remaining Bruce and Keith wells whist the sun shines too.
