That was exactly the point I made yesterday ...... one that many on here have overlooked imo. Ask yourself what happens when you have two or more buyers, side by side, interested in gorgeous, vert cute, last red dress on the hanger, one that fits like a glove, yep, it gets sold ! Price comes down to how much either party wants it.

Yep, after hours weird transactions ....

1,576,335 shares at 165.7546p (~£2.6m), that was then reversed out, followed by two separate trades that totaled the original 1,576,335... weird !!

Given RNS stated, "following receipt of a number of preliminary and conditional proposals..." there is clear common ground on which to discuss matters further, otherwise an outright rejection would of occurred by now with RNS stating reasons why TB should 'take a hike'. No rejection RNS to me signals room for discussion or our board want others to know there's a party and all are invited.

Without a firm price for market to work with, we could easily move -/+50p .... once a price is known then we will know what the market thinks, atm we are in a flux !

Caution, our board could cut short any discussion at any moment, if so swift return to ~430-450p is also possible.

Not sure what you are on about .... each share has the same voting rights , 1 share, 1 vote .... 75% of VOTING shares on the day of the resolution will be required to pass it ..... you could only have 40% of share capital voting on the day, hence would need 30% of share capital to pass it.

Would also hope they allow our Rhum repairs to be off-set, but as it was 'maintenance' probably not ... so if backdated, worst possible situation for us afaic..... £50m ( if correct), that could be 18p/s dividend.
The real issue I see is if Conservatives allow Labour to direct them this will not be the last 'call to help the poor' putting pressure on for more action, time and time again.

There was no need for Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co. to declare their 8.5 as approach RNS post-dated their transaction, although I guess they should of held overnight rather than selling for a tiny trade.... could of made ~£100k, just goes to show what these pro's know.

What, at record high NBP's ...... all I can say is, Gordon Brown ..... buying gas in an under-supplied market will only drive NBP higher too or at very least, prolong higher prices.....

PS Shame I didn't switch my portfolio around yesterday ... something I was very close to doing, pity, as good news from one of my other holding today. Guess I will need to trust ACW to continue holding SQZ with his 'STRONGLY' comment last month.

8.3's will allow TB to court other large holders, hopefully for an Irrevocable Undertaking to back their approach.

Not a chance of them walking away imo .... this will probably go hostile, hence no price as of yet, then all down to the vote, will need 75% of votes to win, so who have they had cosey 'chats' with to think they have a chance of getting DARK ..... TB will have timed this to perfection .... question is, will there be anyone else in a position to counter bid as that will be the only way TB will pay more.

My vote is for NO, unless we go above our ATH ....

Last thing we want with this gov is another NSTA UKCS NS Licence ...... Serica need to look overseas, think we are done for the foreseeable in gaining acreage within NS afaic. We have plenty of licences atm, buying near term or producing assets abroad is where we need to go this financial year before we get kicked in the dingily dangles with excessive tax.
