RR are being lined up for an approach ( probably by US PE ) imo ... hence I've started adding on every opportunity, although it appears there are opportunities everyday atm.

The press speculation with a price of 570p has put a cautious lid on the SP as far as PI's are concerned, thus allowing larger investors to load up without those pesky PI's driving the price up. We will see the SP creep closer to 570p as the weekend draws near. Further press speculation ( leaked or not ) over the W/E will add new impetus to next week.

Yep, volume not massive but decent ~2m, a significant number of trades with value >£40k, given we are close to our ATH shows enormous promise. Note GMT+1. Plus lower than 'normal' BoT trades make up 64% of all trades.

Unless DD finds a MASSIVE problem with the books, DARK is sold to the highest bidder imo, appears there are too many interested or suspected interested parties wanting in on the party.

KIST has been pinned at 580p all afternoon ..... where as little old SQZ has been sneaking up on the inside, little by little all day.

1msn, Yes, noticed that too ..... up for not very long, then pushed down. Been same story day after day, someone wants to buy as low as possible imo .... no matter what the market is like on the day, BT is pushed lower... open higher, not for long, not on my watch !!! ffs

Yes, generally if an approach is worth considering by the target company, NDA's are used to ensure confidentiality of discussions. Discussions, would, as you suggest need to of happened way in advance of an offer, I have known 'talks' to occur 6 months or more before an agreed scheme of arrangement is announced to the market and offer made. I looks however that in the case of DARK a 'leak' was manufactured to either let others know a party is happening or the acquiror is playing hardball.

They have to report ALL transactions, no matter how small or via what security.

Normally a share that has seen a historically high number of BoT trade usually see a decline in amount of BoT trades as reporting becomes more of an issue for the principal trader.

Could even be AA done a deal to sell KIST and for him and his team to move on to their next IPO. AA would sell on a very different criteria to ACW et al ..... Where as AA would have a pragmatic and measured approach to pricing KIST, ACW would be thinking we need top-dollar, nothing less for SQZ and our gravy-train to end, no-one is every going to pay top-dollar, there always needs to be something in it for the other party !

Come-on, ACW, where are SQZ deals or even a deal for that matter !! You have had more than enough time ... so long as we don't end up with a Dodo of a deal, like buying Hozelock at the time of hosepipe bans, or an empty (windfarm) field from Parkmead.

Yep, no offer price was announced as who wants to be first out of the trap and show your hand to other runners. Once the first approach offer with real valuation comes in that will signal starters pistol, until then I would have thought highest price DARK will reach in the meantime will be the false ~570p.

Things can and will change in the blink of a BoT ... one thing is for sure, a new floor will have been put under DARK and it will probably begin with a 5 now.
