Really Poppy, as shareholder I see no benefit of doing so, in fact how easily SP was dropped yesterday suggest otherwise .... dual US listing may resolve this issue.

They need to come out fighting as these funds will keep the downward pressure on until it suits them.... £1.3bn MCap lost today on a withdraw of not even an actual offer, just preliminary talks with TB and off the back of very solid results.... unbelievable and totally oversold afaic

I agree, badly advised if at all ..... so maybe we need to ask ourselves is Poppy up to the job or are they already in contact with other suitor/s ... Everyone involved should be looking at themselves as given the circumstances, low key to say the least. BTW, many AIM CEO would have knocked the ball out of the park given half a chance.

Just shows how easily a multi £billion£ company listed on UK FTSE can be manipulated when you get several funds making a concerted effort to take-down a companies SP. Once they are loaded up SP will be then 'allowed' to rise as shorts closed in concert..... 35% down ..... £1.3bn wiped off MCap ... unbelievable, truly unbelievable..... Why all this effort, simple answer ..... DARK will be takeover just a matter of waiting.... The fall today is as if we are going bust tomorrow ..... How US hedge funds must love our FTSE ..... Their very own wild-west.

I for one totally misjudged fall this morning, expected 15-20%, not this ridiculous 33% when SP closed at 413p (342p currently) day prior to news breaking... Esp when combined with very favourable results. Only those that acquired between mid June to Mid July or small window mid Feb are currently in profit.

For sure math would have been done ..... 3rd party entities ( whom have no restrictions on buying ) that would give irrevocable undertaking on TB trying again at some point..... maybe enough to go hostile. For sure interest in DARK esp by TB will not go away, how long it takes for SP to recover >500p, who know .... could be tomorrow, next month, year although I doubt no longer than another 12 months given how DARK has grown the business since IPO.

If TB didn't want to progress it ..... end of discussions, full-stop, hence decision driven by TB actions and DARK had no option other than to abide by TB's choice, planned or otherwise imo

TB announcement was timed to cause maximum damage to DARK's SP, totally obliterate any upside from results and contain the SP, in that, objective achieved. Question is, what was the reason behind the timing other than what I mentioned above ?

They will reference TB for sure during webcast and probably Q&A's too, re-enforce why talks terminated to give some confidence to the market imo

Yep, TB went in low wanting a bargain and now have inside edge on 'worth' of DARK .... they WILL re-enter the race when another suitors comes calling ..... that's the clause, very clever from TB. They know they have time and know they can pay more ... giant game of cat 'n' mouse with PI's being the daily fodder.
