They are not selling anything off ... see my post Friday 19:41, basically the 8.3 transfer of 6,555,096 shares that occurred last week has now been followed by required TR-1 for moving below 6%, nothing more.

I guess that was the reason for massive fall, someone put a sell order in for 110k (£437k) shares that finally got filled at 397.8p. If only they broke it down into smaller tranches, probably would have go a better price without trashing the SP.

"due to Germany's storage tanks reportedly now being 85% full..." yet two weeks ago regulator stated they would struggle to meet November targets and was concerned going into winter.

Lets see how shutting down NS1 tomorrow impacts us, Putin will not want Germany with full storage tanks.

How is stating your facts me being 'nasty', just find it funny that you call a sell on SQZ at the same time declaring you are in with ENQ , both companies of which are exposed, even more so with ENQ to the very reason you stated to take chips off the table .... just a little contradiction of positions is it not ! Well, it appears to have done the trick, FTSE well into blue, majority of stocks up, DARK not being one of them !

How real was the chance of an offer of ~$6bn for Micro Focus, with their net debt of ~$3.6bn, no one seen that coming afaic.

If someone wants you they will pay / offer what they think will get the deal done. Fact TB has shown a formal interest will be enough for market to sit-up and take note ! Should TB pull-out, we will see strong buying to off-set weak holders once the 'froth' has blown over imo

For me however (for various reasons), this is a growth stock regardless of TB outcome so will add accordingly.

Interesting that Darktrace Employee Benefit Trust have been, in general, slowly increasing their net position until today's notification that 6,555,096 (£34.3m) shares were transferred from EBT to unnamed beneficiaries. Someone/s preparing for sale of company imo.
TB also declared they hold zero position in DARK atm.

For me main negotiating points are how the current BoD will be 'integrated' into the new entity DARK or other entities run by TB. How will bonuses / pay / add-on's etc work. What will be their involvement / ownership (shares) going forward esp if DARK will re-list in US, which is a given imo. Yes, BoD first priority should be looking after interest of current owners, ie us shareholders but this is big business with $billion$ involved and secrecy that can surround PE operations.

Watch for US IPO listing of DARK in a few years and see who from current crop of BoD are still involved in DARK Mk2 or promoted to other arms of TB.
