Very strange trades here .... only 14 trades all day, with what appears to be 1.2m (£271k) sell early morning and 250k (£56k) late reported mid-point transaction too, we finished flat !

No, not a 'new' short, just due to HBR buyback and share cancellation they are now notifiable as being over 0.5%. Good chance of shorts reducing going forward as upswing in Brent / NBP has begun esp with US to commence refill of strategic reserves and OPEC meeting in a few weeks too.

Given the transaction in question was completed on Monday and notified yesterday, imo there is a very good chance that we may see another RNS tomorrow with Fraser Group going well above 7% after buying on Tuesday too. Remember, yesterdays SP struggled to get off the floor and closed down, certainly another buying opportunity for MA et al I would of said.

Was it not November 2009 when internet shopping was still in its infancy although we had ~75m shares in issue vs ~100m today.

Increased 0.01% by very nature of HBR buybacks and cancelling shares imo.
