They are paying back debt, at the same time executing buyback, oh and providing a substantial dividend too. Great way to add shareholder value, but then I guess you are purposely blind to these facts.

Once more UK NBP is unable to go negative as it's safeguarded in the way it's traded, futures maybe .

Of course it will be a target, massive production, very little debt and hedges falling away, either t/o or merger will be required to survive.

You may think WFT would halt this type of corporate action, where as it actually will accelerate it. Imagine likes of HBR et al, UK primary producer being taken over by a foreign entity that then could blackmail ( behind the scenes of course) UK gov.

Please do not encourage him, we all know his game as he was prolific posters back then too, you probably remember him. Yes WTI caused panic in the oil market with traders falling over themselves to close out driving the price lower .... so racked up serious losses. This guy posted references to EU gas, which I responded with stating that due to the way NBP is traded, it is IMPOSSIBLE for NBP to ever go negative. atb

I repeat, NBP can not go negative.
