ATM, SQZ are offering an inflation busting annual yield of ~10%. Last years interim was 8p/s, although indications from the company are, it may well be higher this time around, lets hope so. :-)

For me it's always been blindingly obvious that UKPLC should produce as much of its own hyro's as possible until we exceed 100% of UK's needs, then tax the 'ell out of it .... this will reduce the higher carbon intensity of imports, provide energy security and investment for renewable's not to mention jobs and ADDITIONAL tax from both O&G directly but also the myriad of firms that make the sector tick.

The 'JUST STOP OIL' should really be focusing on 'JUST STOP AI' as for me that is more of a concern.

Well, after first attempt we fell back 3pt's mid afternoon on US open, then slowly clawed our way back for second attempt running into close and this also got rejected, however UT managed to close a gnat's whisker (if they have them) right up against resistance, so tomorrow we need to close up. atb (Finished +8pts / +3.46%)

What if HBR and SQZ merge then relentlessly pursue smaller players until NS domination is achieved. Between them atm they would knock-out around 250-270,000 boepd which would also give greater leverage financially, not to mention with HMG too. Both carrying around same level of debt, both offering around same level of dividend yield, both undervalued afaic.

Just makes you stop and think how much of the rise in NBP was due to pure supply and demand or down to traders, like our own Mercuria manipulating the market. We are now 15 months on and already without NS1 or promised NS2 being online ( mainly EU supply) EU prices are also lower than pre-war. Gov should focus more on 'market makers' than the companies that actually do all the spade work and keep energy supply flowing. It's almost impossible to dig a hole with one arm tied behind your back !

At current prices of both Brent and NBP there is no way any major CapEx outside of already commenced projects will be considered let alone authorised by NS players atm and probably not likely until after the next General Election either.

Without investment we all know here that a supply shock is around the corner, currently, at best SQZ are making ~£2.50 per boe ..... would you invest for that return ?

As for VOD there must be one or more significant buyers in the background given we hit a 21 year low the other day and only sitting just above atm. Breakup value is worth considerably more than current SP, so open season for any PE outfit/s to cherry-pick our assets and strip-out unwanted.

Std LTIP's as issued on many occasions previously, so wasn't expecting anything different tbh. That said, get us over 500p will do for me.

Not sure if these LTIP's are still able to be fully vested if you leave the company as in the case of Andy Bell GIVEN 153,333 free shares when he will be out on his ear shortly.
