If i remember rightly there was a threshold they had to reach, was it more than 50% on NSD shares? Usual rns waffle to confuse things but i dont see this as a negative, more like mopping up the stragglers on NSD, its possible divi's maybe reinstated before this date...

i think we should start up a shareholders union, i vote Alan is our leader and the first meet up should be a Guilford Wetherspoons, us shareholders have invested in Royalmail and deserve better terms and conditions on our loan contracts, these are not being carried out as agreed and would like our money back.............

@spaceman - you see your opinion is EXACTLY what the problems is, you are assuming every share holder has better living and working conditions than you? A certain bloke called Dave has exactly the same mentalilty and thinks his workers should be shielded from the cost of living crisis whilst every other person including share holders have to suffer and pay....

i watched a TV interview with RMT union spokeperson saying they had interviewed many rail staff who stated they are currently using food banks and claiming benefits. Im assuming the same BS like this is flying around the CWU meeting rooms.

On paper this is probably correct, but i bet if you scrape back the layers the dramatic statement of a full time rail worker employee starts to fall a part.

My suggestion to these 'families' is to put a rubber johnny on it or close your legs love and turn the TV on like every normal working class tax payer, stop breeding, do as your told and get down to some serious hard work for Royalmail 2023. £10 a share by the end of 2026

'sponsorblock' is also worth a look, takes out ads and all sponsor rubbish in youtube videos, those annoying plugs you get at the start of the video.

as BigBlue said click the blue 'Privacy' tab bottom right, not the privacy in links at bottom, turn off and reject cookies etc will get rid of 90% of ads on this website.

its more the case of this is an important time the union have to turn the screw (just before xmas), in the new year the power will shift back to the company, keep striking boys and girls, a few more weeks and CR kicks in...

Mr Sunak has promised 'tough action' against the unions, time for davey boy to get on his social media and get deleteing them post's, incoming legistlation to ban strikes, watch this space..........

@JAB - it was a DW news documentary i watched last weekend, they said the 180 personel were\are directly linked to Russian energy\fossil fuel sector with direct links to Pootin, Some names mention were from Gazprom and the Gas fields.

Note ** It was last weekend and they already had the potential list as some of it was read out on air, so i dont think this list of names is a secret....

@JAB & BB - in theory sanctions are endless but my point was they do more damage closer to home, there has to be a point where you ask yourself are any of them worth it? Putting price caps on Russian exports is a better measure but not out right bans. With GOLD it can easily be resmelted and stamped, cant see a price cap on this as its more a buy and keep commodity item rather than consume i.e energy

@BB - these sanctions do more damage on our own doorstep than your average Russians.

@CT - what i read was mining but re Coal, EU targeting Russia's biggest energy exports, trying toi find the article i watched but i guess we will find out sooner than later....

@CT - I heard it was targeting the energy sector, not metals, likely tit for tat against Russian strikes against Ukraine's Energy network.

EU are running out of things to sanction, thats a risky hand to show the rest of the world, sanctions only work against tin pot regimes............. rockets at the ready!

Area '3' is looking like support around the 205 - 213 with a point of confluence in this area, if so we may get a 5 wave move if the recent low is confirmed as bottom.

@JB - i would say another false dawn, rail workers union going ahead with xmas and january and more new strikes, i have a relative who was a life long employee of RM and high up and he thinks that all the unions are in cahoots to cause as much chaos as possible, we can only hope that they see sense and comprimise.

@BSR - ive always had trouble getting quotes with large orders when we are in the 'up' phase with ii, thats orders of 5k+ shares or more, are you using LSE this site or another 3rd party?

@BSR - you will be lucky to get a quote let alone multiple if youre trying to buy quantity

@isleworth - because most of the staff and CWU have been reluctant to see rule changes since the IPO? Now they will all come at once................
