@Derek - i dont disagree with you about the wastefulness, fiddling and cronyism in our current goverment, but as Angerz has said no point in trying to bring the whole system down to prove a point, you wont actually be any better off because inflation will just stay higher for longer... your food shopping basket will be same just cost more...so we will ALL be paying more for longer....
Bres i dont think you have read any of my posts properly, just gone off on your own militant agenda, im against all that you say, as i would expect many here are also and that includes us share holders! What we are against is this special treatment that unions mislead their members to think they deserve, normal payrise and one off payments are the way to deal with temporary shortfalls, and again next year if needed until normality resumes.
I dont for a minute believe this is all down to energy prices, a good percentage of it is profiteering, it will be interesting to see supermarket and big brands profit margins, the likes of Coca Cola have already been found out.
