@musical - your on the inside so would know better than myself re management, but as we know the SP usually bares no resemblence of internal affairs at the work place, the market likes clarity and thats exactly what we have got, the lines have been drawn in the sand and who blinks first is out...

@music - why do you assume this is going to cause a massive drop in the price? that seems to me just to obvious...in my experience big companies that streamline and lose staff are usually taken quite positively by the wider market. As long as this is completed in good time to limit damage this could be exactly what the company needs. Short term pain for long term gain...

@HH1 - if you are losing £50 a week that means your working less hours? Your also getting a basic salary pay rise which means you be working even less hours 'pound per point'.

personally as much as it causes short term pain its for the best for the company going forward, this was the same in the 70's, inflation, energy crisis, strike!

i have the current support at 230, we know how the mm's like to keep the price off the bottom, especially in an uptrend, spread confuses the end of day as it widens towards close, one almighty boom coming before the end of January imo
