@Ray - i commented to try and stop you two arguing bud, blue did attempt to make decent thread that was wider market, nothing wrong with people offering their insights to pull of the wider mnarket, it all affects our shares!

If anyone takes the time to write out a post and research things they see as relevant why go report if its not to your liking? Not everyone has the same knowledge here and we can all learn something from each other, it appears to me the more knowledable posters are the ones reporting as they dont need the info, there are others here that do need it.

This mud slinging is getting boring, whilst ive been regular on this board and dont offer a lot i have offered something if nothing else a little humour, maybe its time to eff to another board!

@Angerz - i would say we are at about the right price for recent highs and lows, thats a decent 78% fib pull back on the November high, we really need to 204 area to hold if we get a further drop due wider market pressures. Agreed about VESA, we would be lower than here without it and the CWU playing up.

Personally i think the old way of working out recession is not fit for purpose now, (3 quarters of negative growth ) If you add the money that’s already been pulled out of the financial system with crypto you will see a very different picture. Its also a bit of a play on statistics, they state even when growth is 0.01% down on the quarter and then it gets revised back up later to plus 0.01%, whos to say these stats are 100% correct without any wiggle room? IMO it’s a great time now to start building portfolio holding for 3-4 year turn around.

morning board, 2 and 10 year yields are falling, mixed indicators of where the SP is heading, im waiting for the market to take me out or news, i like to be in the market for those big recovery rises, 1 down and hopefully another to go leading up to ex divi and end of year.

A gap down this morning at 179ish which will likely get filled before it moves off imo.

yes i normally have a pot just for trading along with my investment holding of POLY, since POLY bottomed out ive kept the trading pot firmly in here, theres a lot of good quality cheap shares available now so im getting withdrawels

@Ray - you just been pumping more money in here or clear out some older shares to buy more? Did you sell any in the 350s to buy back? ?

@Oligarch - yes i was looking at it again today, i want my next buy sub £2, its looking like within a couple months the trend is going to change, thats with out any news, we know the results will be bad, most of it is already baked into the price, if its really bad i might get my order, or it could be not as bad as really bad and start going up, its coming its only a matter of time now so be patient guys.

@Razza - maybe we should setup an retirement home group on facebook for the more senile members of LSE, no holds bar chat, 420 pipe and slippers and werthers originals at the ready........

@Westy - it was my understanding that the shares on NSD had to be offered for transfer, legal requirement and with an extended deadline, now im not sure if that is all that is required or they actually have to go through witha certain % of share swap, i cant see how they can force through all shares to be converted, i would think its only the requirement to offer it?

The Ukraine conflict can only end when Kiev stops posing a threat to Moscow and discriminating against Russian speakers, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Wednesday. He added that the current standoff is based on Russia’s security concerns.

Speaking at an annual press conference, Lavrov was asked whether the current phase of hostilities in the neighboring state could end this year. He responded by noting that “the goals of the special military operation are not fictional, not plucked out of thin air,” but are rather “defined by fundamental, legitimate security interests of the Russian Federation.”

@big-blue - dont see any reason why it would be BS, whilst i know Rus love their propoganda the majority are normal people so i give him benefit of the doubt. They where right about who done Nord Stream and the Bridge... remeber the propoganda is far worse on Ukrainian side, these slavs playing them at their own game and they losing badly, public arent stupid any lies now will be doing more damage in house than losing on battle field.

@JayK - depends what camp you sit in when it comes to net zero, im cautious of anything riding high on Lithium, Volt UK got dropped as not sustainable, i also do not like their right to repair, each battery in a tesla has over 6000+ cells in 1 unit, thats 6000 more chances of your car going wrong on top of all the gadgets inc, customers are finding out now once out of 2 year warranty that the car is next to worthless once the battery goes, the engine management system wont allow car to start once a few cells go faulty, (depending on where they are in the banks of the battery) Tesla only allow in house repair and no right to repair, over $20,000 for a new battery from Tesla for used car...... I think the novelty of this tech will wear off, until another greener method is found. Just my two peneth worth from a tech angle and worth mentioning.

@MrA - thanks for that, im late today and no drop on wider market so im guesiing inflation dropped a little...

@MrWolf - you just day trading now then, i need to get a bit more active with my trading, im all at present on various shares biggest holding is Polymetal which im 50% up at present, holding my nerve is paying dividends right now.

Im looking for new software setup, what brokers and platforms do you guys use? Currently with ii who've just updated app and not keen on it.

@Isleworth - i would have to go back and watch it again but the PDA question i think he missed heard it, His answers where like scripted it appeared as any question that slghtly veered of course he went into auto pilot, regradless that he wasnt answering the questions the MPs asked him. Funny to watch him get ticked off!

Anger hit the nail on the head, if it isnt him it would be someone else, ST is just a puppet and that was clear to see today.

Gov have got some neck with some of those questions, such as being competitive with likes of EVRI, have better conditions, cheaper parcels delivery,PPA monitoring of routes to im[rove performance, zero carbon foot print, , he done well to keep his cool probably why he got the job.

I always like to watch these things but they are nothjing more than hot, when was the last person disciplined for failure in front of this panel?......

@wolves - my jibbing is just that and not aimed at anyone, as i said in my other post quite clearly this a problem has been created by the Goverment, issue with expectations put onto ST, how can you compete with one hand tied behind your back.... you cant

Cant say im a fan of him after that performance, but we should also consider how his hands are tied, it was fair commnent to say that the profits from GLS went to share holders, and as you say mnay RM staff are shareholders, what is unreasionable is cyclical 9% pay rise, as ive said previously a one off payment to cover this year and see how inflation goes for this year. The rest of the arguments are hand bags at 10 paces and you both dont seema mile off, its time for staff and union to compromise.

@wolves - if anyone is waster its you coming on share forum to wind up share holders, you also take everything everyone says personally, i suggest you take it all with a pinch of salt, relax or finda new job.
