@JR i can almost be certain it wasnt a 15p spread as im watching level 2, the order size 29k share couldnt be filled with an automatic quote, so the buyer clicked the other button send to market, the market maker can then fill the order at any price he wants, all the buyer had to do was reduce the order size or place a limit buy order.

some unlucky person just 29K shares at £2.30p im guessing they just pout it top market because they couldnt geta quote......... ouch

@JR i think the problem is with the mid price and the data feed how it records it, its easy to see the buys and sells by the price 214 sell 217 buy, there is roughly a 2-3p spread atm

@Poker no one is going to be able to get to grips with a narcissist like Putin, het what he wants or he keep going, hes waited his time and slowly accumulated the power over 2 decades and just like that is trying to write a new world order sided by Xi Jing Ping, the only way out of this i can see is if someone goes in and takes him out. In a way its better we teach Russia a lesson now as China are watching, i said when this started its the start of WW3 and i still believe that.
One of my best mates is Russian from Khabarovsk, he lives in Moscow now and they worship Putin, I havent spoken to him since March and wont, he still supports Putin as im watching his social media, im actually thinking of completely cutting off this relationship over this war, this is the least I can do to let them know my feelings towards this war.
One of my ex girl friends was Russian and ive lived amongst them in South East Asia for some time, the patriotic loyalty is spoon fed to them from a very young age, a lot actually believe they are superior form of human race, you wont change their minds. Not tar everyone with the same brush but until the Imperialist generation are long gone we can expect more of this.

Thanks Value, i would say though that UK has managed this inflation crises slightly better than US so far, we've been easing into this for a while where as the US seemed to have just ignored it and hoped for the best till its to late, with some luck we wont follow them in their extremes.

Morning team RMG, ive done a little TA on the FTSE if anyone is interested, we are at point of confluence today, currently parked on the Fib 61.8% line, the ringed area is a major support point where 3 support levels criss cross, we have just dipped below it but i am hoping later today we pull back up above the 7170 area.

Im surprised to see such a sell off when the US SP500 and NASDAQ held up well trading late yesterday, the positives i can see so far is it appears its only yesterdays gains that we are losing today and likely more of the larger defensive stocks that are taking a hit also hence the price drop, im expecting the already heavily oversold shares to be slightly more resistant to these drops and hoping for a pull back later when the US market opens.

@Chippy one of my friends has done the same, even before the price hikes in electricity he was getting paid for feeding electricity back into the grid, he covered his roof with Solar when the Goverment where offering grants towards the costs, what a good investment that has been for him.

the spread tells us a lot of the way the markets wants this share to go, encouraging sells discouraging buys, some poor people paying £2.22 on level in small and big orders, most sells going through at 2.12p.

Someone needs these shares, squashing this down like a coiled spring, just got to wait for the expansion phase now, its coming

@Oli i havent seen anyone here whining, they are airing their views, which is exactly what these BB's are for, we dont all have to agree but its good to see others POV, after all we are all rowing in the same boat like it or not.

@Kthanks there was a guy on here not so long back who was in the same situation, i beleive he was in France, i think he found a broker but i am not sure which one, maybe someone else here can remember?

@Foor i dont know how long you have been trading but from what i have seen the bod are exceptional, i emailed one of my other investements days ago and have had no reply, you cannot ask any more of them to navigate this storm in a way they see fit, a lot happening you and i know nothing about. For whats it worth i dont see the LSe share getting suspoended else it would have been by now, some brokers will only sell positions but many have allowed it to trade as normal. Im with interactive investors one of the bigger ones and have had a big convesation over an hour about its trading and they said there is and will be no problem.

thanks Olpps, i checked that thread earlier and didnt have half that info, it appears it was through market maker choice, not sanctions, AUCOY i think is still trading from what i read..

@Oligarch i worked witha guy who was at the post office most of his life, nice bloke but when it come to employing him he would be the very last person i would want on my work force. He had become institutionalised by the union, hes was probably the least productive worker you would ever meet, infact he worked under my uncle who had 70 people under him at RMG, my uncle laughed when i told him about my friend keith.

These older guys who worked under state ownership are the perfect customer for this union to represent, turn up for work clock in stand about talking all day clock out go home, now i know i shouldnt tar everyone with the same brush but its a fact the a business is completely different under private ownership, imo you could probably lose half of the work force who are suitable to work in such conditions.

Reading some of the online news re the CWU reminds of the miner strike's back in the 80s, its like going back in time and im expecting arthur scargill turn up at any point.

@ RG well you would say that being a postie, no offence but i know and have worked with several people who havent had ANY pay rises in the last 4 years, so we can all cherry pick numbers and statistics BUT i think the MP's rate is a good guide to go by what is seen as being fair.

Also not to mention that RMG is being investigated for under performance, that wouldnt have anything to do with the workers would it?
