@JR i would ignore how they mark the trade on here LSE its near always wrong, way i look at it is what where the rpices and volume prior to that trade, before and after, you can work out but what side of the fence the order was on by it. Also we have now gained 5p in no time which confirms it.

just now 16k, 27k, 3x5k all buys and yes that 138k was a buy

If you look at the trade before it was 178p sell (red), the first of the 180p trades tick the price up hence green in colour so it looks like it could be a buy to me, the rest in white meaning it made no effect on the price a total of 19456 shares, then the 21k share buy, the clue to it having an A next to it means its an automatic trade and as i mentioned the other day a lot of retail brokers have dark pools for limit orders so it could have come from retailer in one big order broken down.

So it could be someone offloading and the mm's trying to hide it.
It could be a buy again with it trying hold the price down, potentially for next big order at 184p

Right at this moment we have 3p spread on interactive atm,

looks like we have the wind behind for a little while you might have jumped the guna bit there, 15 minute riding above 20MA and 30 minute now crossing over on 20, 50, 200ma, 1 Hour coming inline also behind. Top left insert is 30 minutes time frame

appears there has been some update to sanctions overnight, i did havea quick look but couldnt see anything directly reffering to gold on the HMRC website.

Morning team POLY, brilliant post @Panda, pretty much as expected in both rns's, just need to get this next round of sanctions out of the way which is already priced into the SP imo, these sanctions are beginning to sound a bit like covid booster jabs... never ending, one thing i bet they dont sanction is grain and other rare earth metals. BTW level 2 is around 15-20% on the bullish side as we speak, any bigger sellers are at 252p upwards.

@Boyo yes looking at your chart on the daily its getting to crunch point either break out or big drop, of course it could also just go sideways.

Yes my chart is 2 hourly as it show the up channel a little better, i dont jump about time frmaes up and down but none of them are complete signal, yet. guess ile wait and see if i get continuation signal along one the MA lines. I see a lot of people usa 9MA, have you found it better than your standard? i also use the weighted average which gives a good idea if the SP is overbought or oversolk on the day (white line)

Just thought i would drop a little chart down and see whats you guys and girls opinions are for OCDO for tomorrow, it looks to have bounced off the inner channel on my chart (excuse the mess), back below 61% fib to, weak on the MACD.

What im seeing across my portfolio atm is oversold shares such as BARC, RMG, RR. everytime the wider market drops they go back to thier base lows and recover, its happened so many times now ive lost count. Is this the long term bottom with a 'soft' landing with inflation and interest rates? Failing no black swan event or Putler going big guns could these heavily oversold shares have already bottomed out? Are they just going to kick the can down the road a bit further?

@Teslo - how you seeing things for tomorrow here at rmg? on a 2 hourly time frame with 20 & 50MA its looking bullish, but higher time frame at 4 hrs a bit weaker, lower at 15 minutes bearish. i think depending on whats S&P does tonight will guide the way for tomorrow (failing no bad news)

oh and another thing worth mentioning anyone with a sizeable holding try a dummy sell, the will take your shares if put to market for a live price.

from what ive seen on level 2 depth of market this morning as opposed to this afternoon its shifted from one side of the order book to the other. Todays sell off looks purely on Gold sanctions to me as there are plenty of buyers now this afternoon waiting in the queue from 150-176, sellers are going to have to get through that lot for it to go any lower, most sellers waiting with any sizeable volume are from £2.50+.

Wish i had free cash to fill my boots...

@Timy it appears that way, the BOD have been pretty straight up about the auditor situation, and i cant see that being an issue, it may be the case no divi's and that the war drags on a bit so someone is offloading. MM's are having to make what they can on low volume and to make up that long period we had little to no volume at the 250 area.

@Cawn good luck to you and hold on, hopefully we will get some good news re the dividend in the near future.

Im watching the time and sales list and some big order filling taking place today, as we speak 9x 1000 buys just gone through, and multiples of same size order shares 754.

Good call that Teslo, will be interesting to see if this support holds, there doesnt seem to be much appetite to sell it down below this long term support, main picture is Daily time frame and zoomed in top left on the 2 hourly, im hoping this is the bottom for now, its been bought back up almost immediately away from support.

the problem we have is we have an algorithm that is moving the price down on next to no sell volume and not moving the price up on big buy volume.

at 08.05am someone bought 15125 shares, it went through as buy but ticked the price down on the previous buy of 19 shares at 8.03am.

When you are up against that there is nothing we can do but enjoy the ride, (for now)

@JAB you are right actually, i need to go back and watch that video again, i am sure the bod will find the best solution and in our best interests. Might flip a coin and buy so more tomorrow, lets seee...

@Big-Blue - a few weeks back we talked about dark pools with brokers etc, i finally got it out of Interactive Investor today, all thier limit orders go to ii's dark pool, their market orders go to market only. they were almost reluctant to say it out right i said to the girl so is that a yes or a no, eventually she said!

@Atrades i thnik you will find FA got banned as posts reported, he was only talking here the other day saying he doesnt mind if POLY gets suspended so i very much doubt hes sold out.

Re the gold link you posted, its hear say at present, if it happened its only our Russians assets that could not be sold, the Kazak should not be affected. The wont have any trouble selling gold and as chippy said could increase gold price so a win win for POLY. Also if you look at this link you will see we will likely just follow the US and G7 this week and will likely be trageted attack with sanctions, we may not even be affected who knows yet... You also have to remember a lot of these sanctions are to appease the public through MSM, after all we will be paying for this war for a long long time...
