A very good morning from foggy Norwich. Certainly no fog yesterday with that brilliant RNS with loads of positivity on this board. I’m hoping for an intra day RNS as the next one that will give us a giant leg up in morale and get us well up the leaderboard for the day. If the bod are jubilant on yesterdays let’s hope they’re jubberlant on the next.

Morning Les, I think I’ve got that job until he takes his test in March/May, twice a week. He’s getting much better, in fact I just sit there now and let him get on with it; that being said he’s a typical teenager who thinks that 30 is the minimum speed not the limit :-). I won’t know what to do with myself when he makes me redundant.

Christmas will be lovely, I got a bottle of sherry in along with wine, bubbly and some beer. Sherry already half gone, beer started and bubbly on ice until Christmas Day unless of course we get the RNS we’re waiting for, then the extra expense of buying it all again won’t matter will it?

Ian, thanks very much to you for passing this on from Fran115MW, I don’t think I’ve heard of her/him on this board but a really big thank you for the information. I’ll read up on it and if this share comes home very soon instead of shortly I’ll pay for him to have the surgery done ( subject to clinical advice and his permission of course). Many thanks again.

Ian and everyone else that sent a kind thought for him, it is very much appreciated. He seems to be very positive and at the same time accepting the inevitability of it all. He’s always been a very active man and always very supportive to his family, but right now he’s the one who needs that bit of moral support and help. He’ll get it paid back in spades that I know for sure.

Rolf seems to be very happy with the way things are going and I must admit that things do seem to be getting a bit more positive. Whether that’s because I want to believe that this will turn around or if it’s Rolfs general attitude and outlook I’ll have to wait and see. I don’t think we’ll see anything happen quickly and I am a firm believer that this share is indeed a long term hold as opposed to a short term punt. It may take a few years but if he’s successful in his approach to this business we’ve got a nice little earner on our hands. Patience will be the key though. Only my opinion of course.

So yesterday afternoon I came on here and said that I’d finished being driving instructor Pete and I was looking forward to catching up with what had happened during the day. Then the phone rang. It was my wife’s sister in law who was very upset and asked if we could go straight over. It turned out that my wife’s, brothers back ache and a bit of constipation was inoperable pancreatic cancer. Now that for me put things completely into focus as far as what happens on here and the games people are playing. There’s not that much you can say to a guy who’s just got back from his GP surgery having been given that kind of news. I hope things go smoothly for him as all I can do is watch a good friend face the ultimate reality of life.

That’s my driving instructor duties over with for another week and a mighty fine job of it I’m making too. I see I haven’t missed too much again so that’s good. I’d like to think the a decent RNS might land whilst I’m sat polishing the seat of my trousers so that I can sit and savour it, so now I’ve got the rest of the week to do just that. I don’t want to join in the arguments so I’ll just watch from the sidelines. Have a good night.
