Monkey, thanks for the kind words, nice of you to say them. Vic was one of the guys as a conscripted person who was on Christmas Island when the nuclear tests were carried out so he’s very fortunate to have had a full life as many of his old mates died years ago with cancer. It makes you wonder doesn’t it.

Morning Ian, thanks for the very kind words mate it’s very nice of you indeed. Vic has elected not to know how long the medic’s say he has left, but has been told it has spread I believe to his lungs too. I can only offer moral support and take him out if he fancies a bit if sight seeing and talk about football and stuff just to help take his mind off things just for a little while.

Good luck to everyone now that we’re back to talking about EUA and had our Christmas stockings filled. Hopefully some news shortly ;-)

Highside, 68% down for me. Like everyone on here we thought we had done sufficient research into the company, unfortunately we didn’t see the trip wires that were set in our path. Whether this is all incompetence, bad timing, bad luck or shenanigans I doubt we’ll ever know..I just hope someone has an ace up their sleeve that they choose not to reveal yet.

Many thanks to all of you for you very kind words and thoughts it really is brilliant of you. JJ, I hope the radiotherapy goes really well and that you bounce back very quickly as I know that it can take its toll on you, my very best wishes to you. Please report back after you’ve had them and let us know how you’re getting on. Up until now my money has always gone to Sams House in Bristol who done such a fantastic job 18 years ago looking after one of my grand daughters mum and dad when she was diagnosed with leukaemia at the age of 6 months. But now I’ll be splitting my donations into two parts so that GOSH get some too.

Mooching sorry about your dad too it must have been hard for you and your family.

Morning from a very grey and overcast Norwich. I really hope that we get some decent news soon that will propel the sp up to a much higher level than we’ve currently got. I must admit to feeling the need for a bit of good news, I feel as if this Christmas has just been one thing after another. It started with my brother in law being given the bad news that he has inoperable pancreatic cancer which has devastated my wife. Now we’ve had confirmation that one of our grandsons has to go into GOSH and have a hemespherotomy - in essence an operation that involves disconnecting part of his brain to stop his seizures. This is going to happen around the 7th of Jan and the parents have just about got their heads around the enormity of what’s going to happen. So next year is not going to be exactly a red letter year for the family. I just hope that EUA comes romping home so that I can at least take some of the financial burden away from all of them and help out that way as well as just be there to give emotional support.

You’re an intelligent guy and you’ve obviously worked out your exit strategy; words to the wise have a read of the RNSs of EUA and see what you think, they might just get you shed loads of money back!!!

So it looks like another red day to add to the book. I really don’t know why anyone is getting their knickers in a twist over it, we had a very good RNS and a lovely updated ACF report. We all know that in the end we’re going to have an awful
Lot of money in our back pockets so why get in a lather about it. Those that are negative on the stock can carry on with their view point it won’t affect my attitude or my ability to see what I invested in. So yesterday’s UT was a bit of a surprise especially the extra large buy right at the end. It’s all just games to someone but assuming it was definitely a buy that’s not exactly loose change is it. Only a few trading days left until Christmas so I’m really hoping that the bod manages to get some more earth shattering ( pun intended ) news out to us and make it a brilliant time for everyone.

Last bits of Christmas shopping to do today then finally decorate the Christmas tree (slack bast*rd I am ) with a glass of sherry or two. Have a fantastic weekend.
