Hi ya Wolfey, good luck with the golf, I hope the golf goes well, certainly better than the way I played yesterday. Relax and enjoy the game especially in this heat.

I’m not posting much these days as there’s not a lot to report, but I do read the board every now and then. I’m working in the garden at the moment, I’ve got a 20 foot high hedge (laylandi ? Or something like that) that I’m up a ladder cutting and levelling out the top. On the hottest day of the year too, so I’ll just take my time and try not to fall. The biggest problem is getting rid of the cuttings. That’ll be in a builders bag in my pride and joy Jaguar with ivory leather seats then ( groan and crying emoji)

I’ve been here 4 years, never sold one share except to do a bed and isa, and I have no immediate plans to sell any. I’ve got 4 years worth of isa accounts max’d out and I’ve got 40,000 ish in my trading account. The fat lady will sing at the end of the show, until then I’ll be going to the golf course and trying to improve my game if I can stop duffing shots long enough :-)

Sorry but I don’t like getting into the arguments on this board there’s no point in arguing with persistent people who won’t yield a point even when they are shown to be wrong.

A very sunny good morning to everyone I hope those that have managed to wrench themselves away from the excitement of this board have had a good weekend so far. Today ought to be a cooler day but still plenty for me to do, which includes cutting the grass, a round of golf and go and see my BILs widow for a few hours tonight.

Will we get any kind of news tomorrow? Only time will tell on that, but the neg heads would have you believe it will only be another piece of news that kicks the can down the road a little further, then the board will put us into administration, all sell their shares and the world will come to an end. Utter tosh in my opinion, if you read the RNSs and the material that first made you invest in this company the only thing that has changed is we’ve got bigger, have more good stuff in the ground and have got more esteemed people working for us. What’s not to like?

I hope everyone had a good evening and got some quality time in away from this board with family or friends. Babysitting is order of the day so my appearances will definitely be very few and far between. It’ll be hard work but we’ll worth it and I’m looking forward to spending some quality time with them and trying to keep up with the little buggers :-)

Dietch66, I’ve been involved in absolutely no deals ever. I’ve been on the receiving end of plenty of delays. My original point was auditors/bean counters dragging their heels and apparently causing the delays in our accounts being published. That’s it short and simple, I don’t intend to get into an argument with you as that was never my intention, so if I’ve caused you to take umbrage to something I’ve said or implied then I’ll happily apologise to you.

Pompal, just log onto your local golf course, look under fees etc and normally see it there. If not give them a call. It’s worth it just for the group lessons let alone unlimited access for a month.

Wolfey, afternoon to you. No one ever notices the good shots you play, but miscue one into the rough or bushes and they’ll all be there saying I still do that. Good if you’re now hitting some good shots, it makes it all the more pleasurable. Get out onto proper grass, you’d be surprised at the difference, it’s like picking a bat up for the first time again :-)

Me and her indoors are speaking but I don’t really think that we’re going to go much further unless something happens to change my current way of thinking. The bod could help my decision making very simple if they felt that way inclined :-)

Oh while I remember - go onto the website of a golf club near you that you like and for about £60 you get a month’s membership with 4 group lessons included and unlimited use of their course/academy course. In this weather it’s a bargain.

Dietch666, to an extent I agree. But you speak of contractors that the government award contracts to, the civil servants who continually miss their deadlines and budgets (apparently). So as you say not directed at boots on the ground as they don’t have any input into it, except to listen to the excuses made by these people who are more interested in their cats birthdays than getting in on time and giving value for money. I spent twenty nine years (except about 2 months short of it) on the receiving end and listening to excuses of delay after delay. In my latter years I kept on top of my job and subordinates to make sure deadlines were taken seriously. I think that the bod do an outstanding job personally, I just wouldn’t put up with someone’s excuses if I were the MD, CEO etc - but then I’d be considered a bully for making people do the job they’re paid to do.

Lenoman, appreciate the point, yes they probably do have to be on the ground but twice a year can’t be booked into their busy schedule? I appreciate the tough times that everyone has had over the past few years and the cautious approach that must be taken. But I’m afraid I view things in black and white (sorry twenty nine years of indoctrination in the forces) if you have a deadline meet it.

With the accounts being delayed I sincerely hope that someone is going to get a good kick up the jacksey for it. Or better still the chop, if it’s an outsourced outfit get rid of them and find someone else. If it’s internal give them a letter of warning, review the terms of reference and objectives in front of HR. I think that covers my rant :-)

The thing that makes me remain positive about the outcome for us all is the below statements lifted from RNS. Why wouldn’t someone want to buy either all or some of the assets. It’s is frustrating for anyone to see their shares showing huge losses, my normal/trading account is showing 27% in the red, my ISA a few percent down so I’m not as bad as others. I can only reiterate what I said about being positive.

I think it probably tells us what we need to know about the results ( the bod would be given a heads up on the outstanding results if they were going to be earth shattering ). Had they been significant they would have been clambering to get them published via RNS. My opinion of course but I think drift until someone can come up with something tangible to give us.

Shame really as a couple of years ago I thought that this was going to give us all a nice payout.
