Filled up.@ 158.9 this morning, along the a12, end of january price was 147.9 for me, so treacle is right.. inflation will ease down, but will interest rates be pushed up and counteract? The paps will move elsewhere and we'll be hearing about Xmas sales soon enough, looks like the 5s will be visited this week, and now ASC valued at jumble sale prices, not even covering assets- ludicrous, barmy! I keep saying to myself No More buying, but just can't help myself dip in for more.. my heart says bargain! My mind is a little more cautious though..
All eyes on Boo update this week coming should tell a story in itself.. do the near 10% shorts know more..? I think Boo is priced in for an absolute shambolic update, but how many times have we seen a rabbit pulled from the hat..? If Boo is bad, will ASC follow suit..? When I feel doubtful, I take a look back at the previous ASC updates and figures to remind myself of the value in this Co..

Not a chance of a takeover c1billion imo, just can't see majority shareholders going for that, and it's over a 66% premium on current price.
A lot of investors average wayyy above. £10...

I would be disappointed with an offer for this co. of around £10 per share.. most know its true value is and will be a lot higher.. £15 per share upwards (c£1.45 billion or more..) is a fair offer, not sure if majority would accept though..

600s holding (for now), have bought some more.. not much, I can't even say that I'm confident of this not going lower, but after today's sh#t fest of a budget I believe the chances of this going back to double digits this year has all but gone.. :( ill stick with my 8.50 prediction come Dec 31st..

Oohhh, are we playing guess the price.. hmmm, let's see, inflation to start falling, spend to start increasing up to xmas.. and the Russians getting smashed! Assuming the 'mini budget' confirms the energy cap and subsidised for 2 years, plus what I would hope to be either a cut in vat, cut in tax for businesses and a stronger pound then yes, I can see back to low double digits on the cards by year end, buuuut, I can see headwinds for a while yet..

Honestly, some of the comments today...!
New CEO imo will throw every conceivable cost at this while the share price is depressed... that way, the only way is up.. but it is a longer term gain, not overnight! In rns co stated they were cautious about ongoing sales and growth but, again let's wait and see what the chancellor brings in next couple of weeks.. ie vat to 15%, income tax cut or perhaps a new tiered system benefitting the lower earners more..
The extra debt is disappointing, but understandable, which makes a cash call a little more likely ,but we will just have to se..

Speculation, nothing more made by unscrupulous paps... profit within guidance, and headwinds in the sales market, nothing more, fear mongering once again.. if it does (which I seriously doubt) head towards 500p, will there then be shouts by the same few that 300p is incoming...?
We all have to wait foe the financials in next few weeks.. I think Boohoo are first up..? If they good, then expect the same here.. personally I'd expect 20-30 million profit minimum, taking into account inflationary pressures, costs rising, and russia withdrawal..
Switch off and enjoy the ride! Its going to be an interesting few days at the office..

Although if this rises significantly up to the next update, then expect the secrets out.. :)
