I'm lucky to have bought at 0.09p but then got more closer to current value.

My gut with RR proved right (well, it was bloody obvious to be honest!) and although I maintain my shares there, I'm getting in below the 0.25p as often as I can - just hoping the SIPP transition comes through in time otherwise I'll be too late.

Can't remember where I read it but the mining doesn't instantly result in sale (as we are all aware of) - therefore, mining to accumulate will certainly be on Mali's checklist.

Can't agree more Dusty. I think as you get older and se it happen time and time again, you understand the fundamentals of it all.

TamerInvestor - just a quick note of interest my friend.

I invested in RR just after COVID at 70p, then 80p, then 90p, then onwards - anyway, I got an average of 95p once the RI (Rights Issue 35p) was announced - so an average of 95p would be fair.

The MCap then was around 6Bln - maybe more, but not by much.

I said at that time (2020) that it's obviously a 70Bln MCap company but Covid got in the way - same with numerous others - I'm not promoting myself as a clever cat, it was simply obvious to anyone talking the time to read up.

That's what I feel ECR, KOD et al are all massively undervalued being pre drill at the time I invested. You are correct to say MCap is currently 3.76m (tiny), but so was RR at 6bln. Five years later, they RR are 70Bln.

Not in anyway suggesting ECR or any other mining stocks will get close to that increase, but increase (or die) they will.

Hence my tentative top-up on my current holding.

Simples.

Not got a huge amount of money, regardless of the RR increase, but I feel a £5k punt once converted to SIPP is a once in a lifetime gain or loss.

Sometimes, you have to take that gamble - as long as you feel you've done enough research of course.

My thoughts entirely - enough money invested to lose but enough to win if that makes any sense?

For instance, I personally like the close on communications to get a better deal. I understand this resulted in a downturn in SP but all it takes is new talks to be instigated and shares like these can CATapult (ignore the pun).

I've made my money from RR (from 35p RI - average 95p - current value £9), and I feel these main stocks have reached their peak somewhat through the gain after Covid. I'm into ECR, KOD, RBD, HE1 etc as I feel mining has impetus yet to be crystallised - whether than be from individual gains or the obvious buy outs.

I'll sit and watch for a while - but all interesting chat. 👍

Thank you sir - I've been with ECR for a number of years (not yet in profit) but I do like the look of it (for various reasons). Thank you for the heads up!

I disagree - I don't think Mali will be looking at SPOD at all - I think they'll be happy to get all they can from the agreement at this stage.

As you know, I took that rusty side boat from the main ship and looked at KODAL (KOD.L)..... I'm almost there with my pension being converting to SIPP to invest even more - lovely average at the moment, but I want to put £10k of the bounty in there.

Back to Dec 2023 gives us 100% increase, let alone the recent high of .49 in Sept 2022.

And yes, the cuts Capita have made (£180m of the £250m by end of year), they've already said they will plough some of that money into AI (not sure how much).

But great information mate - Let's see how far they can get to their old marker in 2021?

Thanks Bav - maybe that ties into the whole AI situation they are currently progressing (although I'm unsure of the actual approved factors from government bodies in terms of AI). Maybe it's a long term punt?

Either way, as you say, 30% up in a month isn't a blip so certainly something going on.... could at least triple in today's SP to get back to 2021 standards.....

I asked on here a few weeks ago what the hell was going on with CPI (Capita) and part from a consolidation and impetus into AI, I can't see anything else.... another 7% increase today. Anyone got any ideas? Capita forum have none - hence posting here with my trusted colleagues.
