i don’t often comment on rbd although i have a decent holding.

recent proposed takeover was a joke in my humble opinion, always destined to fail with such a small shareholding whilst expecting the majorly to give a ****.

i didn’t. i didn’t vote. i looked at core business and realised that although current board aren’t the best i’ve seen, for me to realise a decent sp, they needed a kick (which happened) and i’m confident we’ll see the 10% increases being a norm based on a solid platform.

Well, now you brought it up ye former friend and first mate Svend, I'm happy to divulge the whole story:

Oh Squeaky Svend, you do me no justice my first mate that once was. I've explained in detail how I came about ye, and ye beg me to continue the story of how we parted?

It all began during a raucous tavern brawl where Captain Nettles and First mate Svend clashed over a disputed treasure map. In the chaos, Svend laid eyes on Sharon, a cat of striking beauty with raven-black hair and eyes that sparkled like the sea on a calm day. Intrigued, the conniving pirate hatched a plan to steal not only the coveted treasure but also the heart of Captain Nettles wife.

Under the cover of darkness, Svend's sister ship, the "the absolute bastard", silently approached the anchored vessel of Captain Nettles. The crew, well-versed in stealthy maneuvers, infiltrated the unsuspecting ship. Svend himself, disguised as a cat, a very small cat with a long tail and big ears... that smelt like a mouse, made his way to Sharon's quarters.

With a charm that masked his sinister intentions, First mate Svend whispered sweet words to Sharon, wooing her with promises of adventure and a life free from the perils of piracy. The enchanting tales of far-off lands and exotic treasures swayed Sharon's heart, and she found herself drawn to the charismatic rodent rogue.

Once upon a time Svend, in the treacherous waters of the LSE Sea, there sailed a notorious pirate ship known as the "Whisker's Revenge." Its crew, a ragtag bunch of feline miscreants, were led by the cunning Captain Nettles, a legendary cat pirate with a grey fur coat and a gleaming golden eye patch. Captain Nettles and his crew had pillaged their way through countless ships, leaving tales of terror in their wake.

One stormy night, as the Whisker's Revenge sailed through the tumultuous waves, the crew stumbled upon a seemingly abandoned pirate ship named the "Svend Rodent." The dilapidated vessel looked like it had seen better days, with tattered sails and a weathered hull.

Captain Nettles, always on the lookout for new conquests, ordered his crew to board the Svend Rodent. The Whisker's Revenge crew cautiously explored the seemingly deserted ship, but to their surprise, they found it wasn't entirely abandoned. A lone mouse pirate named Squeaky Svend, the last survivor of the Svend Rodent crew ship, scurried out from the shadows.

Squeaky Svend, with a tiny eyepatch and a makeshift sword, bravely confronted Captain Nettles. "Ye scurvy cat! This ship be mine, and I won't let ye take it without a fight!" squeaked Svend, his small voice filled with determination.

Captain Nettles, intrigued by the fearless mouse, decided to make an unusual offer. "How 'bout this, me furry friend? Join me crew, and together we'll rule the seas. I could use a mouse with yer spunk."

Squeaky Svend hesitated for a moment, considering his options. The prospect of joining forces with a cat pirate seemed absurd, but he knew that standing alone against Captain Nettles and his crew would be even more perilous.

With a nod, Squeaky Svend agreed to the unconventional alliance. Captain Nettles, pleased with his new recruit, appointed Squeaky Svend as the first mate. Together, the unlikely duo led the merged crew to new heights of plunder and mischief.

As the Whisker's Revenge set sail once again, now under the joint leadership of Captain Nettles and First Mate Squeaky Svend, the seas whispered tales of the fearsome cat pirate and his mouse sidekick. Again, not something I focus on but whilst the big cat bucks earn the cash in the pawtfolio, I can’t fail to understand how easy it is to call oil, FTSE, Gold or TUI for that matter in a positive or negative position for 24-48 hours.

Maybe I’m being too confident and I’ll lose one day?
