Its all well and good saying when the USA chickens out soon the oil and gas prices will revert to normal. You may even be right in that the US will chicken out. But you overlook the Iranians I fear - who says they also chicken out? The raised price is from the expected impact of a reduced flow of oil and gas through the straits of Hormuz and it is Iran holding the cards there, not the USA. Iran may see this as a real opportunity to show the world they arent the underdog of the region and they do this by prolonged global disruption in defiance of the greatest military power and its sidekick. The rest of the Middle East will be watching and longer term, their policies may shift away from the west if it is shown to imperil their sovereignty and economic aims.

I wouldn’t say no to a tier 1 asset of course, but this is just being bandied around to pull hype - we don’t need to do that if it’s superb - it will do its own pr. that leads me to assume it’s not tier 1.

but personally, I am less interested in the tier 1 label distraction but more interested in understanding the extraction economics - if these are top notch who cares if it doesn’t hit a NPV of $1billion return pre project. The engineer sneak pics of a while back and early information seems to be hinting at superb extraction economics - poor us if the NPV is only seven hundred millions!

Good conservative business when a premium is involved and reflects a suppliers desire to remain exposed to copper via JLP or damn good relationship selling by JLP. Issue shares now to preserve cash whilst we are in a transformation phase and once we are steady state cash accretive JLP can hopefully buy them back.

In the interests of balance, I think we will receive the drill update - probably next week and I do also think it will change the whole market view of JLP - those of you waiting for a better entry may find that the better entry is at well over 5p. This isn’t a bau update, it could define the whole next stages of the project and inject new interest in this company.

I hope you’re right M, there’s patience needed and then there is ZPHR. I have faith but my goodness it is getting a prolonged testing.

Yes, I am surprised there is no front running of yellow launch - the rise today is more likely attributed to the last 24 hours crypto recovery generally.

Where has all the speculative money gone for both crypto and small companies- some people must be sleeping with their noses touching the ceiling!

Hoping other holders can reduce an area of concern here for me. We believe that January numbers were a result of bringing on board API players and it seemed successful. Vortex tweeted that $10m was the new expected baseline - very positive. Then we got via this board the news that they were working to make things more sturdy so ignore that last missive - we are building and accelerating. Now we see as told, February is a lower month but on Twitter 21st Feb Vortex talk is about adding widgets to appeal to a wider retail network. Not the api cleints then? It could be that Vortex is doing both but seems odd to now be all about retail when our drive to date was for api compliance. ie are we flailing and bouncing around, or it it only the person manning the twitter desk who is incapable of conveying a consistent message?

Hoping there is some further insight that can be shared on this board - it just looks on the face of it a little flakey.

Good RNS for me and adds weight for me that despite his slightly prickly approach on this board (don't engage if you don't expect replies you need to rise above imo), our FD continues to show he is switched on and looking out for this company in all aspects. I don't really care about the share options - life of a minority investor - but I would say having been in management for some years that when you get on a tandem with another person, you both get rewarded for crossing the finish line irrespective of who pedals hardest. I think Leon may be the freewheeler in this case whilst the FD is duly rewarded. Swings and roundabouts.

The momentum is positive and the prospects have the scope to be stellar here - even Leon will probably opt to keep those shares a while and see what occurs.

When you consider the crypto held and then the 58% share of Satoshi. At 8.5p the market cap is £3.65m! If adoption curve resumes for vortex, this could see huge upside imo.

@Bottomsup - if you must insist on being taken out - okay - tea and crumpet at the Ritz? :)

I think DeFi alts need to find a new adoption curve - I still think there is incredible technology in the bigger alts but need a use case. I still hold kr1 but not optimistic till the real world applications become clear. I am doubly bruised as I bought alts at the bear low - about 3x higher than current valuations.

Blue - I don’t think of Satoshi as an alt - it’s a transaction tech, has a use, and may just build something that takes off.

Luke, that’s a link to a 3 hr video - I will forgive you if you can give us a spoiler for it - did they win? What were they rewarded and what uplift to their share price?

It seems current holders happy but not prospective ones. Now an effective 58% control of Satoshi - Blue can call the shots if needed. A run way of time to let Satoshi scale Vortex, link to a tiny m cap. This really could be a future star riser - let’s hope that scaling can continue to progress.

I agree with Northern - a big change. With the sheer scale of Molefe potential he feels more secure in his position and the past misdemeanors in his mind are chicken feed compared to the future potential - not bad overall as a holder . We may see the best of LC yet (and yes I say that through gritted teeth - but he has always had the ability to drive a deal)

Exciting times

What exactly is the case for replacing CEO - what is his failing? Big prizes take big negotiations take big balls annd take time and so far CH hasn’t dropped the ball. We don’t need a JR Ewing here - we got insurance which we needed. A new CEO will not fix some investors impatience and they will likely not have the networking skills of our current.

I like Colin and his approach though I did get twitchy in the no news element. I think he’s in it as much as us to win it and I think he is a good communocator - when it was all in his gift he never missed a promised update. He’s closed deals well and crucially his timing is good - look at the non ops purchased just before oil exploded.

So I think this period of nda and go slow and rely on government for approvals where he doesn’t have a whip hand and can’t drive a timeline will be very tough on him. Despite that he has seen to it that we saw the physical connections and he does this interview to assuage worried investors despite not having news. He probably doesn’t want to mention too much else at present as it could affect his negotiating positions. tbh I trust him more than any other aim ceo I’ve encountered to date and as such I will continue to wait.

A very happy LTH here - but a cautionary post. Looking at the last day or so I think the excitement is way too high - multiple posts about an interview is a bit Ott. Let’s keep our feet on the ground - otherwise if share price doesnt move up there will be a feeling of disappointment. It does feel different, it does feel like it’s turned a corner, but the point of inflection, the seminal moment as papa would call it is when we start shipping product via the pipeline and not references to it.

That said I quite relieved here and would love to be proven a stick in the mud - but I do think we still have some journey to go, some of which is still difficult to timeline.

In regard to the Visa deal - has this ever been mentioned by the company or is the deal a result of the website partnering soon element - I ask as partnering may simply be using their mercantile services in some way ie them being a supplier - they are very liberal with the word partner.

I have to say that if a raise is simply to buy more satoshi I would probably rather wait till Blu price reflects a little more value - sub £4m cap is way too low imho - if that were to be discounted to raise, the discount is simply too expensive at present.

IMO a very good point about the email. If no news till April was the case you would expect a reply along the lines of infrastructure being finalised and ongoing negotiations for marketing whilst we await the government approvals.

Ultimately it all speculation on activity in the meantime. The 1 thing we all have in common here is that we will have to wait.

A market cap of under £4m is remarkable given the growth being witnessed in Vortex. Thats ignoring any other legacy value in crypto holdings or other egames holdings. If growth at Vortex continues then this will respond with a rise - just very frustrating valuation at present.
