Does not make sense, that Green Passengers only require a PCR test upon return? Surly the states that these passengers are visiting shall require reassurance that these holiday makers are arriving Covid free.

...and PROMate will retail for more within the private testing markets as opposed to with the DHSC.

NCYT is an innovative company with a strong balance sheet, the level of recruitment at present speaks volumes, any business on its knees would have stopped hiring long before now.

I'd agree, DHSC cancellation was effectively priced in at yesterday's close. Also, one of the brokers, their target price was discounting a DHSC phase 2.

Oxford Nanopore has benefited from a surge in demand during the pandemic for its services that spot and track coronavirus mutations. It said that about a fifth of the Sars-Cov-2 virus genomes were generated on one of its devices by scientists from more than 85 countries.

Scientists are also using its DNA sequencing technology across a range of research from human genetics and cancer research to crop efficiency and food security. Oxford Nanopore has created portable DNA/RNA sequencers that can fit in a pocket and can be used for population-scale human genomics.

As I've mentioned before, Antibiotic Resistance is now the biggest threat to health (says the WHO)!

Professor Sharon Pea**** states that PCR has a massive role to play, imagine going to the GP with an infection, instead of guessing as to whether a course of antibiotics is appropriate, the GP would run a PCR test at the surgery to confirm the type of infection, from the results he/she would prescribe the correct antibiotic. Also, PCR could become the norm within GUM clinics.

The present rating/multiple for NCYT is beyond a joke, diagnostics is the future, PCR takes the guess work out of health care and shall ensure less waste and a far more efficient NHS....and that's just the UK.

Good argument for continued decentralisation of the testing process, utter chaos within this lab at Milton Keynes turning over 70,000 tests a day. Too many lab staff and too many test (too many cooks in the kitchen).

I guess turnaround time shall drop, on average, from 4-5 days to 2 days. I'd imagine that the time quoted by the government includes the logistical issues. I believe that high likely that the government are trialing VariPLEX.

What?! The MMs have a crystal ball, can see that NCYT are about to release an RNS, or the RNS is passed across the MMs desk before release...really?!

Why not a conservative estimate:
UK DHSC (£93m x 0.5) x 12 = £558m
Rest of the World £12m x 12 = £144m
2021 Revenue £702m

For all we know, at present NCYT could be smashing the November figure.
