regarding the update, yes the accounts are for the preceding year, but as they have not seen fit to keep us updated via any other means, i just think there is a chance they will add a comment as a side note.

No. He has NO influence over the direction of this company. Full Stop!
For the record, he has also bailed out of one of his "flagship" companies - Scotia Exploration.

For what it's worth, i don't expect any update now, until on or around the 28th when the accounts are due to be filed.
I think (hope) that there will be some update included. Probably not too much information, but i would expect something along the lines of progress being made with the target company nevertheless, and it's not at an early stage.
re Antos - He will NOT be instrumental.

Jimmy/Jace I think its clear from the RSN where the sector we are going is, and at this stage the BOD are not looking to complicate matters any further by even thinking about venturing into a covid direction. As Jace's point..... there are a lot of companies jumping into this sector, and i think that is becoming apparent. If you look at the number of companies trying to get involved, and look at the decline in share prices ( yes i know some of them have seen massive spikes) in my opinion there are too many already chasing the same goal,

Don't worry about it.
It's just a notification about the company being delisted, and awaiting an RTO.
You haven't lost them or anything.
If they were in an ISA, under HMRC rules, they had to be tansferred out of an ISA account as listed companies do not qualify.

No problem at all. Just wanted to make sure that i didn't give an impression that a deal fell through with what i posted. I agree that whatever the reason for not taking up the extension, it now does seem to be at best, a bad miscalculation.
Hopefully the BOD are on top of this now, and can make amends.
My own personal feeling is that it will come good in the end.

I didn't suggest that a deal had fallen through. Just that there was more to sort out than the time scale anticipated.

It IS a lot of money to some.

My own opinion is that he certainly did not get what he came here for.
Don't ask me what, because i just cannot fathom that one out.
It appears that all he got out of it was a company for a pound that he has not done anything with. Indeed, he has since gone on to form other companies, so why buy Photonstar?

I don't want to confuse anyone (or me!) with the continuation of the takeaway analogy too long, as 2 different people will interpret it 2 different ways. I tried to respond to you using rice as "an ingredient" but to be honest, it started getting silly.
The best i can say is maybe someone didn't specify which spice, so this had to be communicated back to the chef. It took time. Then chef had to go and prepare it. Then chef asked the waiter how spicy does he want it? Waiter comes and asks me. I tell him, and he has to go back to the kitchen to tell chef. All this back and forth adds time to my order.
CC yes, to be fair, they could, and should have taken up the offer, and at least those in ISA'a would have had something to be relieved about, but what if they expected the meal to be served before the extension was then needed?

As i have said previously when i have spoken with Tim, out of respect, i will not repeat what he has told me, but i will pass on anything that i consider not to compromise him.
Read my post @14:30 today, and you may be able to determine what i am saying without treading on anyone's toes.
theonlywayis.... no he certainly did not say anything like that. I have spoken with him on a few occasions, and he has always been very polite, and very helpful in answering me.

Spoke with Tim this morning, and suggested that an RNS at least giving some assurance should be made.

I get totally your frustration with this, but if i may continue with your analogy of the takeaway....
My local takeaway has 245 different dishes on the menu.
That means lots of different ingredients to purchase, and store, and prepare, and then serve.
Now throw in the Covid issue that means they have to do things differently. They can't just nip to their suppliers, and meet them face to face, they can't just hand me my meal over the counter, they can't take the cash to the bank, etc, etc,
Although, i do agree, they could at least TELL me why my meal is late!

In 26 days the accounts are to be lodged with Companies House, so we will see how much they have spent.

re the statement that it is expensive to list on the main market, it all depends on the Mcap amongst other things, as the costs are on a sliding scale for annual fees, etc. If you care to look at some of my posts on another company i am in (BOU) you will see my comments regarding costings for relisting on the main market, as this co. is in the same boat regarding relisting, albeit via an RTO.
The thing that may interest you all though, is the question of the NOMAD. There is no requirement for a NOMAD on FTSE main listings.
