I genuinely believe the deal will go ahead and the fact they discussed COVID insurance payments already and the way the RNS was worded I believe back's this up.
They even mentioned the words due diligence wavered!!

The 55plus market which these sell too have the most disposable income and many will be pensioners with a guaranteed income and no mortgages.

We could see more interest from other companies and I reckon they will want to get this deal done ASAP.

I think the fact the 2 businesses have discussed and come to an agreement regarding the COVID claim, seems to indicate that this will go ahead and I believe is in the advanced stages.

The small print over the fact the deal may not go ahead etc etc is absolutely standard in these situations

UBG looks a decent share for any regulars here who want to makeba few quid.
They are in advanced talks to sell the business for 10.50p a share plus a possible COVID insurance payout.

New to this share and bought in at 7.21p after doing some research on the proposed buyer.
Looks like they will 99% go ahead with the purchase and at this depressed rate it seems a decent buy for them.
Hopefully some bought at 4p here and have got them selves a real bargain.

I don't understand the covid claim situation though.

I'm guessing if we hold into the sale then we receive some compensation too?

Looks like it jumped to 57p from a 700 quid buy.

Imagine if and when the real interest starts.

The spread is being kept relatively small too which is just what we need to continue to help towards an SP increase .

Back in at 0.51p for just shy of 2k.

Tempted to just lock away and leave for a couple of months until dates and amounts to be paid out from the 500k are clearer.

On the other hand a spike to 0.75 gives me a near £1000 profit so I will keep an eye on it but won't sell at a loss again.

When holding this last week there were times you couldn't even sell £50 even though you could buy 3k in 1 hit .

I hesitated and waited until this morning to check and looks like that was a mistake.

Just checked in on HL and it's 0.50p to buy but you can only buy 500 quid.
Clearly there is interest and I'm not surprised at these levels.as to buy more than 500 and it is NT to buy.
I'll keep an eye on it and hopefully anyone still in here gets a spike this morning.

There is no way IMO this will stay around this 0.50p mark when there is a guaranteed payout, albeit this has been diluted with the AIM fees.

I read your posts from Adam. He took home 9 million??? Not bad when he started with £1000 start jp loan!!

What a nice gesture it would have been if he had offered put of his own fortune to at least pay the AIM fees. They seem to vary between £125k and £300k for the year but this is only 6 months until September and I'm sure falls into the £125k bracket

I would expect a spike on Monday as this 262MC when they have 500k [minus fees for the MVL & AIM fees]

The sale is expected to go through tomorrow.
It would be nice to get an RNS stating how much net they plan to pay out to shareholders.

If this is north of £350K for example then at 0.50p buy in this looks like a decent risk/reward scenario.

We know it won't delist or be suspended and with AIM being an absolute casino, even more than usual at the moment. It only takes some buying pressure and at 0.75p you can 50%.

I'll look tomorrow and if it's still 0.49p or very low 0.50s I will be back in and waiting for tomorrow's RNS

I'll look again Monday poorinvester as I doubt it's going to sit on 0.50p for 6 months without some fireworks.
Especially when they release details of how much of the 500k shareholders will get once the Voluntary Liquidation is completed and the AIM fees are all calculated.
Would be nice if the figure was North of 400k as the MC is now a pathetic 262k

I sold £250 @ 0.95p [ all you could sell was £250]

I SOLD the other 3k @ 0.75p in 2 transactions.

I didn't BUY anything @ 0.75p
