With respect the jobs being lost is sad but relatively old news, and I very much doubt anything to do with a property investor deciding to sell. The length of lease and overall dues of £23m+ is also irrelevant to a business turning over billions. I put it to you that if we got to the stage where paying that rent was a major factor, the company would have a whole host of far larger problems to deal with first

WTF are you on about? A property investor has decided to sell its property on which we have a lease for another nine years. How exactly does that reflect on HBR? Or will an oil company turning over billions, suddently not be able to make rent?

Hardly a surprise these days that we get a massive inventory draw but the Brent price heads lower. The weekly figures seemingly have less and less impact (unless of course the powers that be need to spin them to further an agenda)

Not exactly a good sign, but presumably that trade was being worked over several days, if not longer. As such, it should already be 'in the market' though its appearance may scare out a few

Somewhat strangelu you can buy below mid today, so the trades list is a bit of a mess with quite a few buys being marked as sells

Another somewhat dreay week, in line with the underlying share price which now stands circa 5.5p below vwap to date. Average daily spend rose £813k on the week

Based on $100m = £74m, buyback is projected to last 119 days / 94 days remaining

I dont know about manipulation, but the market knows there will be circa 300k sells coming in that will be taken off the market by HBR. In these low volume days, thats probably enough to keep things in a very tight range

Personally I would like some capital gains from my shares - I didnt buy HBR as purely a yield play

I genuinely believe this price area is where management want to be buying back shares. Whethere by design or pure coincidence this is becoming a re-run of the last buyback. Really small daily ranges and practically horizontal share price movement.

Hopefully something positive occurs that makes them re-evaluate

Just as likely is that the buyback makes it possible for some larger holders to sell some of their shares, knowing there is a buyer in the market so the price wont tank. In order for the buyback to work at non-inflated prices there has to be a steady supply of shares and they cant rely on those coming from PIs

Well the daily range is shrinking in the absence of anything to move the price (other than being undervalued).

Im still not sure if this malaise is a function of market apathy, or it suits management to be buying back around this price. Probably the former, but this is starting to feel very similar to the last buyback, and what I said might happen

FFS where did that burst of selling come from? Cant sellers hold off for 24 hours when we are getting close to news?

I guess we did well to hold these levels in the absence of follow through buying this morning. Sooner or later FOMO will generate larger rises than 2-3p

I guess to put it another way, the market is looking for irrefutable evidence that PM & Co arent full of sh it anymore, and there recent forecasts will be delivered on. IF we get that, I think the re-rate will be swift. Until then, it continues to be a 'bottom-drawer' share

Its like everything will be judged on acheiving cashflow breakeven and everything else is a sideshow
