Well at the moment, Im looking at the current downmove as a retest of new support in the 207/208 area. All a bit touch and go, and I honestly do feel the buyback is distorting matters

Well as I stated yesterday on the update thread, if Fridays average spend (which I agree to yours) was maintained, there would be approx 87 days to completion of the buyback. This would take it into the latter part of January, or perhaps longer with Bank Holidays and Christmas to come.

It cant be too precise as the buyback limit is in $ and the daily figures are in £

Except unfortunately it isnt proven to be true.

The highest daily spend on Friday, immediately followed by one of the lowest. VWAP paid was lowest to date though...shame they didnt buy more. Im sure they must have a trading plan, but I cant see it

Nothing much to comment on that you dont already know. A thoroughly cr ap week with a share price that now stands circa 15.5p below vwap paid to date. Average daily spend was pretty static during the week but did rise marginally by £12.4k primarily thanks to Friday being the highest spend day by over £100k

Based on $100m = £74m, buyback is projected to last 117 days / 87 days remaining

Thanks for that.....I had considered TW but for some reason thought it happened on a Thursday. What an eejut :)

Another 100k shares absorbed from the warrant conversion. So far the downward drag has been minimal (touchwood)

There was defo a seller in the market today. There were a few 200k and 150k blocks going through this afternoon which is a bit unusual for HBR. The unusually large UT also adds food for thought

Perhaps investors dont like the orange one talking prices down again

......a very sizeable UT trade to close the week.

Im not going to "go off on one" as you put it, but I did wonder when you were going to show up today....

I would hazarad a guess then that HBR are working to daily limits they have imposed, separate from the LSE one. No idea what or why

I think another problem with the buyback is that they are limited by some rule (could be wrong) as to how many they can buy back each day? So its not like they can suddenly buy 10x as many if they feel the share has reached tremendous value. Its all so gradual

Not doubting what you say, but that website has come up with some seriously dodgy valuations and price targets in the past.

Also, if 72m shares equalled 5% as per that last RNS I mentioned, how can SWS get 75m/78m to be a lower % when there have been no major share issuances. I think their data could be incorrect, though happy to be corrected.....

Trying to find Carlos Slim's holdings RNSs is a bit tricky amid the mountain of other stuff.

Last one I can see is from 16.09.24 when he declared 5% / 72m shares. Im not sure where 75m or 78m would have come from, though I could have missed them, or perhaps the reporting threshold wasnt breached?

Trying to get an up to date listing of major shareholders is difficult with an awful lot of dodgy looking AI generated listings showing up. Isnt Morningstar meant to be the defacto source?

Dont want to get into a slanging match re buybacks, but this is exactly what happened the last time. An endless drift with the shares being cancelled coming from parties unknown with no upwards pressure on the price

The theoretical improvement re yield means nothing if it is cancelled out by capital losses.

Putting a postive spin on this weeks recap is going to be......challenging lol
