A static week which saw the vwap deficit improve very marginally to 8p Average daily spending jumped during the reported three days by £13k k and thus buyback period was shortned by approx 2 days

Based on $100m = £75.5m, buyback is projected to last 115 trading days / 32 days remaining. The size of the buyback fund in £ terms maybe a little inaccurate as we dont know the daily exchange rates in use

Has it been paused for some reason? Would they need to inform the market if so?

Well the absence of a Monday morning RNS means we will get one tomorrow along the lines of...

"At the company AGM to be held later this morning, your beloved leadership will provide an update on progress as follow....."

Either that or they will try and blag it and go through the motions?

Rounding off a poor week with a late reclaim of the 207 support. Bit too soon to be reassured by this though

This morning was dull, low volume trade and Brent was doing nothing. A big broker downgrade gave some people an excuse to do something. This afternoon, Brent has recovered a little and so the price comes off the lows. (despite it being Friday lol)

My gut feel is that there is someone able to supply the MMs at say 12p or lower. Its not much more than gut feel based on:

(a) The offer price has been so much below the mid price all week

(b) Despite the constant buying around 12.18 the effective offer isnt rising.

Its just very unusual

Aye DP I commented earlier this week that online quotes were rather abnormal.... hard to interpret why in the absence of any large or delayed trades
