If you intend to go down that path, remember that PBonds take a few days to clear, and that the TW offer must be taken up by the 19th. Just something worth bearing in mind.

Why not? As I said yesterday, I can't imagine that these are going to jump to a £1 in two weeks. The TW deal seems a potential bargain and, depending on your entry point there, your average might be lowered, etc, and you find yourself in instant profit situation. If you chose, you could use some of those profits to buy back in here.....or anywhere else. Your shout!

To be honest, with my present funding and their price, I wouldn't be able to make a meaningful purchase! There seems to be soooooo much going on at the moment! I'm really quite enjoying the quiet waters that are Lombard! My other holdings are currently TW, PYC, PRL and a token holding in RRR (evening Chris!).

I do hope your prognosis regarding the economy proves to be correct. But, call me a pessimist if you will, but I feel that the general health of the world is not heading in the right direction, and helping to solve those problems is where outfits like LMT and other medicals are going to shine.

I don't think there's any danger of such an exciting possibility here! At least losing your entire investment would be a momentary thrill (albeit of a sick and twisted kind)! But seriously, we all know this is a slow but sure stock.

Judging by the recent behaviour of this stock, I can't really see it going to 2.25 again. It's visited 2.9 several times just recently, and it wouldn't surprise me if it ended up in that area tomorrow, and breaks 3 before very long. But, as they say, WTHDIK! I'm going on the way things have been happening lately here, and the increased interest and investment. Personally, I've no intention of selling any of my holding, with the hope that I'll be able to buy back in on 'the dip'.
