Nootame is quite correct - there have been masses of buys over recent weeks. But the fact is there a LOT of shares out there to be had at the moment. I can't remember the exact figure (can anyone help with that?), but there are bucket loads. If the present rate of buying continues, it will reach a situation where the scales are tipped, and that, coupled with Lombard's excellent product and increasing exposure to market, will stimulate a 'sensible' rise in the SP, IMHO. I don't think sexy phrases such as 'This one's gonna fly!' and 'It's about to Rocket!' apply to Lombard.

I wish I did! The price seems to drop for absolutely no reason known to man! I've asked other Lombardiers but, so far, no-one's come up with an answer! But I think it's instructive to note that it never seems to drop seriously (down to 1, for example), and it always comes back up again, doesn't it?

For what it's worth, I believe this to be one of the sanest companies out there. Exciting? No. But, sane? Definitely. If you're looking for kicks, I recommend situations like the one with EFD last week! But you're not going to get any major thrills here. This really is a longer-termer. But cheap enough at the moment to bag a few and put them away for harvest in a few months time. Wasn't Taylor Wimpey available at 5p only a few months ago? I don't think 20p long term for LMT is an unrealistic expectation.

Well, as I was saying to kkman earlier, it was sooooooooo near to 3just a while back! I really did feel confident it was going to happen then! But since then, there has been steady, consistent interest in this stock, with some big buys going in there. These investors surely can't ALL be fools? (or can they?!!!).

Regular visitors to this bb will tell you that LMT stock tends to bob about between 2.4 and 2.5. Anything above that tends to cause palpitations. There was a danger of it reaching 3 a while ago.......or was that just a mirage?

I'm getting 2.639 live. kkman - 2.80?.....er not sure you understand how this particular stock works......?
