f1guru - short term2 Apr 2009 22:39
In the short term I would estimate that BUGGER ALL will happen to the SP! Regular watchers of this board will confirm that you can watch this hour after hour, day after day, and a sum total of nothing happens. Zilch. Actually it's really rather comforting and relaxing. A form of meditation, one might say. Unlike a certain British Building Company's stock, which caused some heart murmurs today, I'll wager. But seriously, behind the apparently comatose SP, millions of this stock are bought (and sold, admittedly) almost every day. And, from time to time it DOES move. Usually UPWARDS. There is a GREAT DEAL of interest in this outfit. In the mid to longer term, I would imagine it moving almost imperceptibly upwards (go away for a couple of weeks and be amazed to find on your return that it was up .2, sort of thing). But ever upwards. Then, while you were sleeping, Lombard products will have been approved for use in American hospitals, and you'll find it's gone to 50p, and wish you got in earlier etc. etc, - all the familiar 'if only' trip. Then it will be around 50p..., £1? Who can say? But I'm certainly hanging on to this one! And, like rich12, if I only had some spare cash! There you go - another 'if only' tale!
