I like your faith in prompt disclosure on AIM. Well someone should be announcing something as 200m shares don't come out of thin air surely! All those percentages on the website are wrong anyway as there are now 1.15bn shares, not that there have been any disclosures about that either. How hard is it to update a website?

Ontarget - am sure you realise that most people only exercise warrants at the same time or just after selling the actual shares so he never needs to pay that £2.4m in any real sense - just pockets the profit.

It is the highest price that the bidder has paid so if they haven't bought in the market the rule is irrelevant

Drop probably because company only has six weeks left to do a deal or get suspended so guess people are selling out rather than take their chances as there hasn't been any news

Not sure - it's all very odd as if DBC has just raised £2m by way of a convertible it should be announced by all or at least some of RP, LIFE, PEBI and FFWD. I wonder if the £200k slugs from LIFE and PEBI have been rolled into it and JM himself must be putting a decent amount in and imagine he's running round his contact book trying to raise the rest off the back of the promise of an AIM listing via LIFE and assume the notes will convert at a healthy discount. Just because a £2m convertible note instrument has been created doesn't mean they've all been issued already so perhaps it will all be announced once the funding is complete.

Pomander - JM is the sole security agent but not necessarily the sole convertible loan note holder. He just deals with the security side of things on behalf of all convertible note providers. Don't think you can tell who is providing the funding from Companies House alone although guess it is safe to assume that JM is involved to some extent.

The whole thing is very odd. Not sure you can force someone to sell their company unless there is actually a legally binding sale and purchase agreement and, in any event, and not sure I'd want to buy it either in these circumstances as the old owners will do all they can to destroy the business. I'm assuming this must be about getting a break fee or other compensation of some sort

Nice analysis. I think you're double-counting the FMCD investments as they are cash and there will be expenses related to the placings so would take about $4m off the assets and you get to a sp of about $9.3 I think. I guess the current discount reflects the unknowns around some of the investments - hope will become clearer in the results

bloch - the regulation on the Standard Segment of the Main Market is lower than AIM and less money is needed to be raised for an investment company which is why loads of investment companies have joined the Standard List relatively recently as they can't get on AIM - SILF, SEN, FAL, CHAL, OPRA, LVRT, VCBC, DVT - the list goes on No Nomad is required and one the time limits around suspension and investment are less.
