Don't think it's that complicated. They need funds soon, they have asked for approval of half a billion shares to be issued. Unfortunately at their current market cap any decent fund raise creates massive dilution and a significant discount would be expected by the funders.

You do realise it is not DAN warrants being talked about, don't you. It is warrants from the company being invested in by RT to protect RTs investment in that company. Nothing to do with DAN other than RT intends to use some of his DAN holding to pay for it.

With respect CWO, I suggest you reread it. Although DAN declined it, RT is proposing to swap a portion of his own DAN shares as part of the investment.

Agree Spikey, it's like the CHAL RTO where they have "agreed" the shares are transferred at 75p. I'll await the financials of the business they're buying before coming to a view on whether that is a fair valuation. It's nonsense anyway, just like RT, as the market will decide the value not anyone else

Ueberraschend - disagree. Those previous investments were made when OCT was an investing company. Since the RTO, they are a financial services company and, in my view, should focus on their core custody and settlements business rather than investing in Lenigas related businesses - I can invest in those myself should I wish to.

Shouldn't this have been disclosed and more importantly why is OCT making these investments?

That is a surprising reduction in Q2 - business as a whole would have lost money once Plc costs taken into account. If there is seasonality involved, they should have mentioned as much in the rns otherwise share price will react negatively regardless of what Lenigas tweets.

Of course the auditors have seen the accounts, they've probably been working on them for a month or so and the RNS in late September referenced as much!

As at 31 Mar 2015, they had £125k but trade payables were being stretched. They have raised approx £700k as you say. Their loss last year was about £1.4m with cash outflow a bit lower so unless growth is happening, one expects them to have spent much of the money raised in May and July (£620k) by the half year to 30 September. Can only assume that it is a short-term loan to pay September wages while they try and get a more substantial funding round away or until the growth kicks in and the customers start paying.

A couple of points - cash balance healthy but £3.2m has been spent on Otherside so closer to £10m and I agree dividend strong But where is the growth? The post-POCT issues this business faces is that it has to cut marketing spend to save costs - marketing spend down a massive 36% H1 against H1 and revenues come down as a result - down 12% like for like but that impact is likely to be more so in H2 due to marketing spend in H1 (unless Otherside helps in this regard). Accordingly, one can get caught in a downward spiral of reducing marketing spend and reducing revenues - it is noticeable that there is no encouraging noises in the H2 trading outlook. As I mentioned before, it is very difficult for a sub-scale business in this regard to compete with the gaming giants -even more so once all the current consolidation completes Cash generation looks good because of the £1.9m increase in working capital balances but that is a one-time only impact

All the institutions that now have more than 3% were listed in the earlier Subscription RNS on 25 August so expect a few more Holdings RNSs to come from the others - Milton, Unicorn, Optiva and Livingbridge
