Hard one to call Lee. I keep my eye on these kind of leaps and generally a great blue day is followed by a red one as day traders sell off for short term gains. However, having said that, Sound recently had a similar hike in sp followed by a cracker the following day. If only we knew eh? If it were my call, by the law of averages, I would wait a week and see what happens.

Yes, I know you are right IANAA but you just get the feeling they could send out an early RNS announcing the discovery of a local tapas bar and the sp would rocket. Things are that twitchy. Maybe it is me who is twitchy actually..I should get more sleep.

Having bought several batches of this share over the last year from 17 p down to 5.9 p, I am very pleased to see this current level because it has gone past my break-even point. The only problem I am having is it is affecting my sleep pattern as I keep waking up at around 6.30 am in eager anticipation of a juicy rns. Still, a trifling problem in the scheme of things as the share looks set to fly out of the greyhound trap any time soon!

Robert, she is shifting to a non-executive position and has stated that it is to give her more time with her family.

I have around 150000 Echo shares. We often have chats in the house about what we would do if the sp reached £1 apiece and inevitably if it reached several pounds! Yeah, and then we could do this and that! However, the last year has kind of tempered our expectations, having endured a 20% loss across our new portfolios.

Nevertheless, I remain ever hopeful that we have bought into a winner here. Gla and a prosperous New Year!

Ok that's it. My final, final, final top up (31,968) of echo shares with some cash I had reserved for my pension. I'm either going to be pleased as punch or be like one of those characters from history you read about: 'Nothing much is written of the Mushroom Kid in his later years but it is known that he returned to El Paso and died a pauper'.

Just shows I l know nothing about anything. Prediction: Echo to remain static and rest of portfolio to shine. Result: Echo sp increases and all other shares decline.

I give up!

Not entirely relevant here, since the sp is affected by exploration skill, chance of discovery and perceived exploitation but for anyone with portfolios spread across a number of blue-chip shares, it has been complete madness over the last 72 hours 'across the pond'. A Record breaking loss on Christmas Eve has been followed today with a record breaking gain of over 1000 points. It's a really bonkers time but at least it should guarantee a blue start tomorrow over here, since the ftse seems to follow notable changes on the Dow Jones. Makes it easier to deal with the inertia at Echo when the rest of my portfolio leaps a bit (assuming no rns tomorrow of course).. Blimey!

Ah ..just a fun game being played: Guess the price at close on 24 th December. Fat chance really :)

I remember a true story about a builder who discovered that the rules for removing asbestos from buildings were so complex that the regulation book covering it was as thick as a whale omelette. The result, of course, was that most smaller builders wouldn't touch these jobs with a barge pole. This left a market that was begging to be tapped and so he went through the rigorous exercise of learning the rules, applying and eventually receiving a licence. Apparently, he went on to become a millionaire several times over on the strength of it. The moral of this story is applicable here. If you check out the last q&a session it is clear that this is a company in the throes of setting up the framework. It takes ages and it has to be done properly but once it gets going........I shall buy you a large fruit cocktail on that Caribbean island egg :)

I know everyone has his or her reason for trading but I do wonder what mental process urges someone with £20 worth of shares to sell, sell, sell!!!

Pretty solid set of straightforward replies and of course you can always register and have a look at them on the site. I certainly felt that the team is firing on all cylinders and it bodes well for the new year.

Thank you WT. I bow to your superior engineering knowledge and I don't mean that sarcastically. I will tune in to the q&a session but I don't think I can add much. My decision to stay invested is based purely upon intuition. I know little about the routes to production upon which you speak. In fact, you could write the amount I know on the head of a pin. However, as you state, there are so many unknowns involved during the pre-production stage that, at the end of the day,...it's a gamble. That's the bit I find irresistible and it's why my funds are not sitting in a five year bond generating 2.25% interest per year! I'm sure there are many with a similar cavalier attitude and that's why it's good to have you here; to temper, at least to some extent and with bare harsh facts, my impetuous nature!

Hmmm...lots of factors that might affect the attractiveness of the share; risk aversion, trade wars, delays, major discovery, spikes and profit taking but I'm going to say ...10.3 p.

I'm getting in before 250 has a go...so I can say I said it first. :)
