Agree with the first part of your thinking but not the second. The last RNS states quite clearly and reasonably imo, that exploratory work in the Paterson, inluding Scallywag, has been delayed out of respect for the health and safety of workers and the aboriginal population. I quote:

You are right tiggerman but I think there is a great deal of pent up frustration being reflected by these sort of posts. People couped up. Jobs threatened. Can't see family. Portfolios smashed. Fed up looking at the same four walls: It's an outlet.

I believe the three main catalysts for this today were seeking 'negative attention' and they got the photon torpedoes alright. It will cool down tomorrow when the SP goes up (imo).

I think we can thank our lucky stars that the Havieron field is still being mined. It's remote location must help wih regard to virus control and by all accounts there is a lot of gold there. Didn't GH say recently when asked for an estimate "It's ...... huge!"?

I'd be surprised if it reaches 6.5p tomorrow. The SP might shoot up into the high 5's before pullng back to land just above 5p.

I think there are quite a few wolves in sheep clothing on here who 'pump and dump' on a regular basis.

Sincerely hope so VC. I would lke to a little more air between my average buy price and the SP at the moment. I am just so fed up watching every other share in my pot dip 5, 10 or even 15% in a day. I need this Lionel Messi in the squad to score. A hattrick would do nicely. :)

The little flurry of buys that came in this afternoon could be in anticipation of the confirmation that stage 2 of the Newcrest farm-in has been completed. We are supposed to know around about the end of March and so an RNS could be arriving tomorrow or the day after.

Ive been resisting doing so but tipped my son this morning to buy some in the low 4ps. No reply from the message, so he could be relying on a large inheritance instead :)

A few months back I was given a cut-price deal on a gold filling for a tooth. The dentist offering it was completing some dental phd and took various pictures to support his paper as the work progresed. These are currently on display in some high-brow dental college or another.

How the associates must now look enviously at those pics and wish they had a tooth like mine. Indeed, the dentist concerned must be kicking himself that he didn't just pocket the gold filling and do a runner.

Meanwhile, my head is worth more each day....
